“I liked my stay here a few weeks ago, it was better than a stay I had at the Galt House many years ago.

A highlight of my stay was the breakfast, they had many delicious options, with a good variety that could appeal to anyone.

I did not use the pool but the smell inside was overwhelming with chlorine and could have used ventilation. My companions that did use the pool stated it was kind of dirty.

The water machine in the breakfast area did not appear to function properly towards the end of my stay but staff was willing to give me a bottle of water to slake my thirst.

Maintenance took at least two days to address an issue with my sink drain but it was functional in the meantime.

Housekeeping ignored my do not disturb sign while I was trying to sleep which was an inconvenience to me, and I think that it may have been a language barrier issue. The reason I think so is because I had tried to ask one of the housekeepers a question and I had to borrow my bilingual companion to assist me with the conversation.

The walls and ceiling are on the thinner side so you have to rely on the adjacent occupants being neighborly and considerate or their noise may rouse a light sleeper.

The room, appliances, sheets and towels were all clean and it was deeply appreciated. The staff were helpful when issues were brought to their attention. I made use of the free Wi-Fi and it was enough to work remotely.

There was plentiful parking and my room was easy to get to. I would stay here again.”

“The hospitality here is awesome! I drove 7 hours out of town to do the bourbon trail and this hotel had the best deal. Super clean, super comfortable, everyone at the front desk was super nice and helpful. I did not take advantage of the pool or other amenities because I was mainly focus on doing the central Kentucky part of the bourbon trail. I will definitely book with this hotel again next year when I bring my parents down!”
