I was a Hometown Pharmacy customer and they closed and moved us to Walgreens...I went in to set everything up and heard the pharmacist and a customer talking about how they didn't want us there, it just made extra work for them. I will NEVER buy from Walgreens again!

These are the rudest, nastiest people I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My prescriptions were forwarded to them from Hometown Pharmacy, when they closed, without any say from me. I used Hometown since I moved to Frankfort 3 years ago. They were ALWAYS so kind & caring there about their patients. The complete opposite of the smug, nasty people at this Walgreens. They couldn't have cared less when I tried to tell them about what happened. Due to all the changes & difficulty getting them on the phone I had been out of my meds for 4 days & was experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms & was wondering why they weren't filling them. after 2 days. This was my first visit & they did things differently than I'd been used too & when I tried to figure out what I needed to do differently all she could say was that, that was a problem for me & my doctor & she hung up on me. I hoped it was only the rude lady I spoke to on the phone but when I went in the store, they were all the same. All they could say was go somewhere else in the most dismissive way possible. No problem that was my 1st & last time to go there. A word to the wise. If you care about your physical, mental & emotional health & wellbeing, go anywhere else in Frankfort for your pharmacy needs. Or wait for them to show you their true colors. Good Luck.

The store is great and the staff are quite friendly, but if you must use the pharmacy please double check your medication, dosage, and name on the bottle. They are a health hazard, and the pharmacy manager Rachel will blame…you. Go anyplace else.

I've been using this Walgreens for years and the people that work there are usually friendly and always say 'hello' when you enter the store. My main reason for using this Walgreens is for the pharmacy. It can get pretty hectic at times, especially right after work hours. If I had one gripe with this location (and it may be the same with others), is when I have to call the pharmacy to check on a prescription that isn't going through for some reason, it feels like the person answering the phone acts like I'm bothering them. I really only ask that the person I speak to understand what the medication is for and understand that there is a reason I'm calling. If I call about a prescription for a psychological related issue (which I do) and the person gets short with me, it only takes me that much deeper into a hole and can be a recipe for disaster. Not all customers and medications are like this, but before rushing a customer off of the phone because they may be asking too many questions, please understand where they are coming from and the worry that they might feel. Also, most of us don't understand the in's and out's of the prescription system and what certain things mean when a 'Doctor's approval is required', when my doctor was the one that just called the prescription in. We're only asking for help and some consideration. I understand that it's seldom a pleasure to have to deal with people over the phone, but some compassion would be great. I'm not saying that the entire pharmacy staff is like this, but 50% of the time that I have to call, I tend to get the bad apples. For in-store/drive thru pharmacy pickups, I rarely ever have problems and everyone is great to deal with. It's just the calls that are hit or miss. As for the rest of the store, it's great, clean and always has what I need. The pharmacy is also, just having to make those calls can be brutal.

This has been my preferred pharmacy for years. The staff are prompt with filling scripts, communicative if there are issues and try to alert me if I can save money. The store is always clean and we'll stocked. It's also in a convenient location. They are quick with photo services and the makeup area is always tidy too. Really happy with the store and its services overall.

I've always been happy with this Walgreens. The employees are friendly, the store is clean, and it's always open. The pharmacy is well-run, and they generally are quick to take care of whatever you need. I haven't used the photo service here, but the other parts of the store have always met my needs.

I called as I was traveling through Frankfort and asked if they would get my script ready. They asked what it was and I told them. They assured me the generic they were filling was the same. I went to get the medicine and took it. I had a gut feeling so I googled what they gave me. It was NOT the generic for what I needed. Rather it was an old prescription that I do not do well on! The store rotates every other week between having Coke & Pepsi 12 packs on sale. I've been buying Pepsi's every other week for months .... until recently. For the past month, every week I go in, which is usually on Monday morning, I'm told "Coke is on sale this week, Pepsi was last week". This has gone on now for 4 weeks and not one week has Pepsi been on sale. I don't know who is in charge of this store or their sale items but this is ridiculous!!

The pharmacy staff are always friendly and helpful. There's rarely a long wait. I prefer this pharmacy to the Walgreens on Versailles Rd.

You all should make it to where we can purchase CD's online without having to buy prints as well. It makes it harder for professional photographers and it's too pricey.
