BOTH, locations have a serious Mealy Bug problem. I know that bugs and plants go hand in hand but damn. It looks like they dont even TRY to at least do some kind of treatment or get the problem under control. I like Wilson and I continue to shop there but bringing a new plant home is a whole drawn out process because I dont want to run the risk of infesting my precious collection.

This is an amazing nursery with so many beautiful plant varieties. The shop is beautifully curated and the greenhouse feels like walking into a jungle wonderland. They have aome of the biggest tropical houseplants I have ever seen, and even have some amazing rare finds. We couldn't help picking up a few things, even though we're out of town and have a 5 hour car ride home.

Stopped in today at the Frankfort location after hearing it was bigger than the Lexington location. What a great greenhouse, even nicer than the Lexington location which is also great! Was helped by a man named Robert, super nice guy, he was extremely helpfuI. I really appreciate the friendly service. I'll be back soon, even though it is a long drive.

Great selection of tropical plants and cacti. Monstera overload. Prices are a bit higher than I like but a very good selection. It was like home in the greenhouse. I wanted the statues out front of the deer. Decorated nicely. They also sell trees, shrubs and Christmas trees. They have a small grill section and a few other statues. I didn't take photos of the plants. That's something you gotta see with your own eyes.

Wilson's nursery is my favorite place to visit when in Frankfort. I can easily spend an entire day at the nursery withit's massive greenhouses and café.The butterfly enclosure in the warmer months for all ages is a fascinating look into the beauty and life of the butterfly.Friendly knowledgeable staff make for an enjoyable visit every time. Either for a days event or just a quick stop to pick up your favorite home and gardening items Wilson's Nursery has something for everyone.I highly recommend a visit to Wilson's.

Went to Wilson Nurseries in Frankfort KY today to go to the butterfly house. They raise and release butterflies native to Kentucky to help repopulate the different species for future generations. They also have school children that come by to learn about the butterflies and different plants they grow and sell which is amazing to do. With it being fall now they have a very huge and wide selection of different styles and color of pumpkins and gourds. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable so if you have a question make sure you ask. If you are looking for something new and unique than stop in and take a walk through the garden and especially the butterfly house.

Food was good, prices in line. Inside was very loud. Wish we had sat outside. We enjoyed the nursery afterward.

This place is very pretty. Lots of nice plants and the people are wonderful. I've spent a years worth of groceries here, but will no more. There was a pot split in half,I asked the long haired gentleman at the counter if he'd discount it for me. He said yeah $10 ,it's a $170 pot. I said I'd pay him $75. He said no they'd use it out in the planter, broken upside down. If he was my employee, I'd of fired him. He would rather lose a customer, money and be rude.

My review is based on their houseplant section only!Great selection! Beautiful nursery. Until you look closer. I bought a huge, beautiful pothos. It was heavily infested with spider mites. It wasn't near my other plants, but still in the same room and they spread to everything. About 20+ plants I had to treat. It took months.I went recently since they had a big 40% off sale and I picked up about 5 plants that I was interested in, but had to put each one back because they had obvious mealy bugs. One of them had mealies and spider mite webs.I really debated getting some even knowing they were infested, but just couldn't risk my other plants since I have a much bigger collection now. And I've already had one infestation spread, so didn't want to chance it.Hope they are able to get in under control because it's sad to see a local nursery with such a great selection operating with such a heavy infestation.
