My wife and I are new to Franklin and we were looking to open a local checking account for convenience. We have done business with Regions before when we lived in another town, so logically we had decided to go back with them. The location of this branch is charming as it is set in historic downtown Franklin. We were greeted and asked “how can we help you today?” by the tellers on duty. We explained we needed to open a new checking account and were told to “take a seat and someone would be right with you”.After sitting in the lobby for over half an hour (while multiple other customers were seen ahead of us), my wife took a break and I got up to stand in line again. This time I was greeted by a different teller who proceeded to tell me “you will need to make an appointment”. At this point I was more than a bit irritated and asked why we weren’t told that over a half an hour ago?The answer was something along the lines of “I don’t know, would you like to make an appointment for tomorrow?” while they were looking up at the clock. At this point it was about 30 minutes until their closing time. I told them “no, we’ll find another bank to do business with”. Currently we are commuting from two hours away while we work out our new housing so coming two days in a row for something that should take a half an hour is not an option.Based on this experience, we will not being doing our banking with Regions and I would encourage you to look elsewhere if you value customer service and your time.

I do not recommend this Bank. I'm on social security and was relying on this institution to receive my deposit from the government but while I was in the hospital they closed my account. They didn't even inform me I had the banking app but they didn't even bother to send a message across their own app or a text or an email or anything so as a result my deposit went nowhere. They tried explaining it to me but after talking with an employee who made sure nobody was listening and recommended I Bank elsewhere said that they do this to people all the time there. I also talked to a former employer of that branch of regions Bank and they said they've never seen a bank close more accounts on people without informing them in their life they left that institution and work at another financial institution today and are much happier. Read all the small fine print while opening a checking account there. Or better yet just DONT BANK THERE!

Banked at Regions for years, hands down worst experience. Needed a simple withdrawal -100.00 bills why I didn’t go to the atm.Ms Davis did not greet me, rude and I had to ask for envelope as it was a bother. Terrible customer service- as I needed soooo little .Fortunately I was traveling and don’t have to frequent here again…

100% will never recommend this bank to anyone if your looking for a bank any bank will be better than this one. Poor customer service and poor everything else

Autumn has the personality of a tranquilized mattress. Bonnie? Zero energy from me. Closed my account several months ago because someone accessed my account via Google Chrome. I only use the app. While trying to protect my money and my account, it got so locked up that I could ONLY progress by being seen in this goddamn branch. Scenario sounds like it's time sensitive right? Nah. You better make an appointment! I suggested it's probably better to terminate the relationship because incompetency at this level involving my money? Hard no. Bonnie had no problem letting me go. My account was always in good standing. But when I call you out, I suppose it's easier to let me go than restore confidence in your institution and the safety of my money and information. Too easy to refer me to a 1-800 number. Only reason I'm back like a sequel is for this $400 bonus I received. Money over incompetency. Look. If customer service isn't your game, you better start training because in a BANK, your demeanor, how personable you are, how well you deescalate, and how well you take care of customers will define your value. Everyone's expendable. Remember that. #nocapwiththefacts

Awful customer service! They were 30 min away from me so I called ahead to make sure if they can help with printing me a void check and the lady told me they don't do that! I check online to see if that was true which was false so I called again and they didn't pick up anymore. I called a few times and they pick up and hung up after. DON'T GO HERE!
