I guess they do what they can with what they have which is not much! Absolutely no delivery of any package that won’t fit in your mailbox and the ones that do are typically delayed. Amazon guaranteed delivery…..forget it! If you have mail that has to be signed for, be prepared to find a “sorry we missed you” note in the mailbox (even if you were at home) and make ready to drive to town for that and your packages as well.

I sure hope that all other post offices aren't like this one. If they are, not sure why they don't shut down. It's clear that the person that delivers mail in our area hates their job. More than once, I've had package crammed in the mailbox so bad that I had to open the package inside the mail box. Literally rip open the end of the package to bend it down and get it out. Also had tracking numbers state that package couldn't be delivered because noone was home. Didn't have to be signed for and be here all day. When finally talking to the mail people at the office, we are told that they sent the mail with the wrong person and have to put something down for the reason it wasn't delivered. So what the heck...lets just blame the customers because the mail people never do any wrong. Usps and fedex are 2 services you don't want to have in the Frenchburg area. UPS always get it done with a smile on their faces. Wish all my mail came that way. USPS definitely needs to step up. Oh and answer the phone. Called on and off all day today with no answer.

I am hemiplegic and basically home bound. When the package won't fit in box I have to pay someone to go to post office to get it. Yet the neighbor that lives two doors down gets her mail brought to her door!

I had a package delivered from Amazon on 1/9/24 by USPS. It had poured rain all night the night before and my postal carrier set the box in the ditch in front of mail box. The box was soaked and water leaked out when picked up from the ditch. What kind of service is this? Never had a problem with UPS!!!
