“WoW! If you are going to be anywhere near Georgetown, Ky, this is THE place to stay! The accommodations are GORGEOUS! The owner is charming, totally prepared, everything was perfect for our family's weekend stay. You have to see it to believe it- there isn't a hotel , b & b, etc. that can come close to this property, no matter how you filter, and that includes pricing. My family of 6 couldn't believe it when they walked in, and didn't want to leave............... Keeneland, KY Horse Park, antique-ing, Yoga anyone?, Scott County, Toyota, Midway, Georgetown., Yuko-En, and more. AND, I am NOT a Relative of the owner!!!!!”

“Unbelievable customer service! Mark willingly boxed two frames (that I did not purchase there-mind you) that I needed to ship for Christmas. Not only did he do this-but attempted to deliver them down the street once completed to where he thought I worked. (I had actually purchased them from Miss Behavin-and they connected me with Hockensmith’s-thus the confusion.) Once I returned that afternoon, he carried them across the street to my car. Mark went above and beyond and generously served a “non-customer” also in turn serving a local peer’s business. Love the small town feel of this transaction and the simple goodness of people. I may not have used Hockensmith’s services today-but I can assure you that I will in the future. (And Miss Behavin too for their help in connecting me to Mark and great customer service!)”

“Great Kentucky Thoroughbred experience! Add it to your visit to the Lexington area. Call ahead to meet the artist. Learned so much about the fabulous horses he has painted. Only place to see Justify, American Pharoah, California Chrome, Arrogate, Curlin, Gun Runner, Rachel Alexandra, Bernardini and many more horses up close and in great detail!! His art book with author Ed Bowen is a must have! Wonderful complimentary refreshments, too! But address listed in google maps is wrong. Found gallery at 137 E Main Street in historic Georgetown. Not on Clinton Street!”
