I find the staff here to be very honest and knowledgeable. My car took a while to get fixed, but I never felt taken advantage of, even as a young woman visiting the shop alone. Mike and Jordan were especially sweet and helpful.
I suspect that some complaints in other reviews stem from a lack of patience or understanding about the process. The shop is always busy, and it seems they often don’t have enough workers, but the team genuinely tries to accommodate everyone.
One downside is that I had to call for updates, and the parts distributors can be slow, especially for older BMW models like mine. However, they maintained a positive attitude despite my frequent calls, and they clearly work well together.
Overall, I trust this team and appreciate their dedication to providing good service, especially in a corporate setting where they’re motivated by their commitment to customers rather than personal gain.

Several reasons, beginning with being instantly greeted upon opening the door. Most importantly the customer service and communication is top tier. Mike clearly explained repair options, cost, plus current and future maintenance needs not only to me, but also over face time to my husband. He patiently answered our questions; ultimately establishing trust. I stopped by this location due to an error message that I felt needed immediate attention.
So, a typical day… grabbing a SB coffee Frappuccino for $10.55 next door. I had the exact change plus a tip. Fast forward 10 minutes max and we’re having to spend $$$ unexpectedly. So, yes, that transaction needed some trust behind it and Mike provided it. He also kept me updated on the status of my car. The gentleman who checked me out was as equally pleasant. And so far, my car is happy. ??

I am extremely grateful for the excellent service provided by Mike Mitchell at Firestone in Georgetown. My car wouldn’t start on a Sunday afternoon and he took me right in and went above & beyond to resolve the issue fairly & kindly. I am a new and now lifetime customer and feel peace knowing that I can rely on trustworthy service at Firestone in Georgetown. I recommend going there for all your needs! They treat you like family.

Jordan was amazing! I called and he was very professional and reassuring. It had been a very stressful morning with car trouble and I had to get jump started twice, so I was stressed. He made me feel confident that the problem would be identified and fixed promptly. And it was! A huge thank you to Jordan for his help!

From the beginning to the end of my time at Firestone, I couldn't be more satisfied. James, the mechanic, wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied so we even went for a test drive together. He was very knowledgable and professional. Lastly, my check-out experience with Mike was great. He explained everything and was very helpful as well. A+ to the Firestone team!

Incompetent and careless at best, dishonest and vindictive at worst.
Truly the most frustrating, prolonged, and chaotic auto shop experience I’ve ever had. Places like this are why mechanics are seldom trusted. They boldfaced lied about what they could do with my bent rim then suddenly withdrew that statement by telling me they were actually only able to fix it if I bought a new set of tires (how is that even relevant?). I called them out on this. When I said I wasn’t interested, they told me they actually didn’t have the right tool to fix the rim so they couldn’t help me and that my tires were the actual issue and I needed a full new set (not true). The customer service folks switched mid-interaction and obviously didn’t communicate with one another about my vehicle so it was chaos. Then inexplicably at some point one of the guys “fixed” the rim without telling or asking me (it looked like they used a hammer or something?), damaging pieces of my vehicle in the process before shoving the hub cap on there haphazardly. The rim was warped so the hub cap didn’t even fit. No one whatsoever told me this had been done to my vehicle. As I drove away my car was making a weird warbling noise it had not made before. When I got out to check it, I observed this is what they had done without my consent or communication with me. They also tried to charge me for a tire rotation. I never consented to a tire rotation.
I have complained to corporate twice with no call back for a resolution from management. I have never in my life called any corporate feedback line to complain until now. Yet, feedback clearly ends up floating in the ether at Firestone.
I would strongly advise that you go elsewhere for even your basic automotive needs. This was truly the absolute worst and caused lots of needless frustration for me.
I conclude that these chains don’t particularly want to get in the business of fixing bent rims. Cool. Great. That’s fine. I wish they would have simply been upfront about this instead of wasting my time.

Worst service I’ve ever had! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Ordered wrong parts, now searching a junk yard for it. Cars been gone for over 3 weeks now, I have to call to get an update because they never communicate

I went to get my car aligned and they told me they couldn't get it perfect because the adjuster was bowed or bent and I had just had a car apart changing my control arms and I had pictures of before and I got home and seen this when I looked under the car and told them when I called them back that they did it and I have pictures to prove it they wanted to see my pictures to prove it so they replaced it and then they also replaced my new tie rod end that I just put on 7 months prior then they go on to tell me that they can't get it aligned because of an upper control arm and they said they'd replace for free I went to get it replaced and they never did it so I asked if I could do it because I was tired of waiting I changed the part out myself I went back to get in aligned they aligned it but they did not tighten the knuckles so while I was driving down the road my driver's side tire was straight and my passenger side tire was turned to the right which caused damage to my picnic arm on steering after I called them and told them that they didn't put the clamps on it correctly and didn't tighten it they asked me to go get another alignment at a different Firestone and I told them that I didn't want to drive the car that far I ordered a new payment arm and I changed the pitman arm and I took the car to the hamburger location or Lexington to do an alignment and they literally did nothing they gave me a piece of paper with my measurements before and then my current measurements they are almost identical I do not recommend Firestone to anyone in any location at all they don't care what their customers get they want to overcharge and not do the job I'm not sure the qualifications of this company to be able to work there I have been to the location in Georgetown four times and each time was unsuccessful and another broken part I will be taking my car to the last place I got it aligned maybe 7 months ago and that was tired Discounters and they did a wonderful job
