I visited this Great Clips location in April 2025 while visiting family. I asked for a trim of 2 inches and to clean up the long layer. Halfway through the haircut, I realized the right side was at least 1 inch shorter than the left and she’d not even started on the layer cleanup. I brought it to her attention and she did what she could to even it up. She was friendly and apologized but didn’t ask for help. It was much shorter than I asked and it would need to be even shorter when I got it fixed by someone that really knows how to cut hair. I couldn’t leave fast enough. When I checked out, she charged me the full price for the haircut when I have the $12.99 Great Clips card. I was so frazzled and embarrassed, I just left. I returned 2 days later and unfortunately the hairstylist was working again so I didn’t feel comfortable mentioning my haircut being botched. The manager didn’t know how to use the Great Clips card so she reimbursed me the $6 difference in cash. She seemed irritated that I had the Great Clips card to begin with like I was inconveniencing her. I did what I could to fix my hair at home and when I flew back to Topeka, I went to the Great Clips I frequent here and they were so understanding and kind. They fixed the haircut at no charge, knowing I’m a regular and have never had concerns before. This Georgetown Great Clips doesn’t measure up to the other Great Clips I have frequented in St. Louis and Topeka. This Georgetown Great Clips needs so extra time and attention from the top, down.

Hit and miss coming here. Mostly miss. This time was definitely a miss. She spent about 8 minutes on me. Neglected to cut part of one of my sideburns, and didn't trim either of them. Also completely forgot to cut the front of my hair. So I had bangs about 2x longer than any of the rest of my hair. Asked for half off the top, she did maybe 1/3rd. Also discovered that the back is extremely uneven. Just...how do you even mess up that badly? You're staring at the back of my head.
Objectively a bad job.

Check-in system worthless. All accept one were out to lunch. Waited 20 minutes past my time and still 4 people were ahead me and only one cutter. Had to leave for my next appointment.

Edit - 3 Years Later: Previously gave a 1 star review, see original below. I decided to give them another shot. New stylists, New environment, better feel. Stylists were paying attention to the clients in their chair. My stylist was Christy (hope I spelled it correctly). She was awesome! Attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. More than anything, she did a great job cutting my hair. It was exactly what I asked for. Ladies - if it's been awhile, give them another shot.

Could have been just my experience, but stylists seem to cater more to the male clients than female. Should avoid if you are looking for a welcoming environment, where a stylist is happy to discuss what you are looking for and not rush the job to free up a chair.

Savannah is a fantastic stylist who always gets me in quick, and I'm always very satisfied with my haircut. I have been going every two weeks for a couple of years now and will continue to do so.
