First, I want to value the Employees there who work extremely hard and take their job seriously. You are appreciated! With this being said, I really wanted to give a one star, but I chose two stars because of the avid employees who work there. I can also say that those specific hard workers do keep the store clean and the shelves stocked (the first of the month and holidays is when it can be impossible to manage the shelves/restock).Let's get straight to the point ? ?As a prior Save-A-Lot Employee in Lexington, KY (a franchise company and not an individually owned store), maybe I got used to the "way of the land" and how each department was trained probably. Or.. how the workers dedicated themselves with prioritizing the customers and only putting out the very best products?..Obviously... my persona is delegated to both of those answers above.Sadly, Georgtown's Save-A-Lot is not quite there in the field of being dedicated to prioritizing their customers in certain departments.I can't stress this enough in how frustrating that it is to go in to tje Store with the Produce Department being the MAIN Entry Star or first thing you see and it ends up being the worst department to shop in!!A box of Roma Tomatoes were all soft, smashed, rotting, and full of fruit flies on one shopping trip.On another trip, all the packaged green onions were old, wilted, and brown. Cherry tomatoes at their last life span. Salad mix that was brown and soggy. The FIFO Method was not being adequately used properly. This neglected department gives far more judgment of character to the one in charge than the worker thinks.Glancing at the Produce Department and its fruits and vegetables, it gives you an idea of the workers behind it all. SMH.

Their clerks are friendly, and helpful and with a smile. They ask if the customer needs help, etc. One of my favorite places to grocery shop.

Very basic store. Little variety. Many generic items. Meat prices competitive. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The building, flooring etc. In need of upgrading. Basically a convenience store with better prices.

Dirty, save-a-lot used to have a cheaper selection of items. Now a lot of their stuff is actually more expensive compared to bigger stores
