Our story is a HORROR show. Be warned. Upon arriving in early November from NYC--we checked in and thought, "this place is not very clean, but it's fine." BIG mistake!First: There were ants all over the ground in both rooms we stayed in. Mainly near the sinks.Second: The staff berated us for needing additional towels after our bathroom was leaking.Third: there were bed bugs (see image attached). When we called the manager, a middle aged man, he came in and checked the bed and picked up the bug in his fingers and threw it away. He confirmed it was a bed bug.He then gave us a new room. We should have left but we were only there for a few nights and we figured we would just get through it. BIG PROBLEM.More ants in room 2.The next day the staff accused us of smoking in the room. We definitely were not smoking in the room (because I don't want to be charged, and because I am extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and had already frustratingly been dealing with it during my trip). Context: I was there visiting family in Kentucky who smoked in their car and their house, which was very difficult for me. So there's just no way we would ALSO smoke in the hotel!!! The smell must've sunk into my clothes, which is what the hotel staff was probably smelling. On November 13, a woman--who we think is married to the older man who manages the hotel--started screaming at me and telling us that we were smoking. She followed me all the way down the hall screaming at me that one morning. I just kept saying, "why are you behaving like this?!?"She then told me I was lying about the bedbug and that it never happened, despite the fact that we moved rooms and the manager *literally* did that for us after he saw the bug.At that same time, another couple who were staying in the hotel, were reporting their jewelry and make up missing. They saw everything, and they saw us being screamed at by the hotel staff. It was around 10 or 11 in the morning and we had to rush into our room and immediately get out of the hotel because we were being harassed so loudly and so violently. They even threatened to call the cops on us for smoking, which, again, WE WERE NOT.We opted to stay at the Holiday Inn, which was a clean and wonderful experience. Honestly it was like...a safe experience to be there after all the trauma. My partner and I travel very often. Just this year I have been to 6 counties. We have stayed in different hotels, from cheap motels to the very fancy expensive ones. I have never in my life experienced this sort of unprofessionalism, harassment, dirtiness, and chaos that I have experienced here. It was UNHINGED. I spent the day crying and then I had to fly home in a few days to clean all of my clothes to ensure that we did not carry bedbugs back with us. It was a traumatizing situation, and I have reported it with Wyndham. I want a refund. Please do not stay here!!!

This hotel was beyond disgusting I wouldn’t want my dog to sleep in one of these room. Everything is old and rusty and down right dirty! We had to check out we couldn’t bring ourselves to stay there in fear of bedbugs. ZERO STARS!! These are just a couple pictures including the lock that was barely hanging on the door. SMH They NEED to do a COMPLETE REVAMP OF THIS PLACE

The hotel is dirty!! I had left over food and had to throw it away was infested with roaches when i got up. The refrigerator was filty!! Breakfast bagels were hard and stail. Got charge for towel that I threw out cause they were dirty and smelly. I don't recommend to stay at this hotel. We would have moved but there were no vacancies in the area and since we had a Caninne dog it was difficult to find vacancie at last minute. Is hard to believe this place is Wyndham branded Hotel.Rooms: Dirty and outdated!! The pictures is a false advertisement!!! They need to do better with cleaning and fix or get new appliances. Also an exterminator wouldn't hurt. Just filtyFood & drinks: Stail bagels and water down orage juice!

Here for anniversary close to home. Last minute decision. Just wanted a night away.We get here, were charged an extra fee because we used a card? Sign says credit card, we used a debit. Bathroom full of black mold and TV didn't work properly. Alerted the manager who went to 3 different rooms trying to find a suitable room but all had black mold ( I have asthma and can't take a chance. Plus it wasn't just a little) . Finally find a room with no mold, were told it was an upgrade but no extra charge all because of a pull out sofa bed. This room has noold but the refrigerator doesn't work and the air conditioner blows room temperature and it's 98 outside . When the manager brought us our room key we let her know then she proceeded to be rude and try to shove us out the door. WE WERE not rude to this lady only trying to let her know where they could improve in a somewhat empty hotel.I guess on the plus side... There aren't any bugs?.Food & drinks: All bending machines were empty

The place is really run down. Not at all what Expedia photos led me to believe it to be. We just couldn't deal with how everything looked and smelled, so we cut 3 nights down 1 at a loss and moved to another hotel. (Would have moved immediately, but there were no vacancies in the area the first day.). I can't believe this place is Wyndham branded.

Lady was rude and very defensive about white towels having makeup on them from where we washed our faces. She was not nice at all. Customer service checking out was terrible. Do not recommend.

We stayed at this location while passing through on our way to our vacation. The staff was pleasant, but the cleanliness was lacking. The hallways and pool area had a foul oder. Our room was fair, but our bathroom definitely needed more attention. The other half of our parties room was less appealing in decor and even less clean.

I don't think it was right for them to charge me extra because the room was hot and when we plugged up the air conditioner it made a horrible noise. They said the air conditioner was fine but we would have not been able to sleep for the noise. They were more than happy to give me another room but when I got home they had hit my debit card for additional fees.

This was a great hotel for the price. Pool was alittle cold for me but I can live with that. Breakfast, had a nice choice of breads and juices and cereals. Staff was super friendly.Nearby activities: Not to far from Shopping or the Caves. Many local restaurants nearby and just down the street from a wal mart. Ralphies fun center was just a few blocks away.

Clean, nice bed. Couch needed replaced. Put us in a suite, didn't ask for that. Shower ok. Kinda strange set up.Noteworthy details: Make sure you specify if you need a Single, Double. King or Suite...we were exhausted and I just wanted sleep.

Hotel was ok. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. Needs some updating. The pool area was terrible. The chairs need cleaning. One white pool chair was so dirty from all the people touching it. They had plants on a table in the corner, a little messy. Saw a couple bandaids and stuff floating in the pool. We ended up leaving after that. The other people (all seemed to be family) had so much of there personal beach stuff in the pool and weren’t looking out for anyone. 2 big tubes, a huge badminton game they almost smacked my son in the head. Totally irresponsible adults!

If you aren’t appointed a remodeled room then you are in for a disappointment. Things are broken and dirty, Wash clothes, sheets, carpets chairs, and I’m not just talking about stains. The owners wife became very agitated when told about the problems like cigarette burns in bedding and hair in bed and bath and bad smell. The owner previously stated I would be discounted if I stayed 2 nights. Then his wife told us to leave when problems were brought to her attention. The room was not at all like online photos. If I could give them zero stars then I would give them -5 because of her attitude. See attached photosNoteworthy details: Beware!!!!!Avoid this hotel! If you complain about the poor condition of the room you are assigned you will be made to leave.

Had to wait 30 minutes to check out which in turn made us late. Had to wait 4 hours to do laundry and finding staff is next to impossible. Also, room is listed for two queen size beds. They're twin size
