Went in the store to purchase cigarettes was asked for ID I presented my ID the woman then she said that she need to scan it I told her it was hard to get out of my wallet and said she could not sell cigarettes to me because she couldn't scan my ID no other dollar store does this. This woman was not very professional she said it was the policy of Dollar general so I looked up Dollar general's policy on selling tobacco products or alcohol products it says that you have to show your ID and they can type it in there is nothing under policy that says that my ID has to be scanned

The last two times I’ve been to this location - no one, not even employees, are wearing masks. The one dude checking me out - when I told him since our area has been in the red (with the Delta Variant) that it would be great if employees wore a mask - just stared at me as if I’d ask him to start a riot. Good grief. Our local hospital is full of Covid patients, many on the vent. DG corporate needs to mandate this.
