The staff could not be any better. They were friendly and kind. The TV situation was horrible. Took forever to change channels. The air handler was loud and the shower head was low on the wall. Weird

Clean, comfortable rooms & beds.Great breakfast & staff was great. The downside was the children that sounded like a herd of elephants running all over the room above us. All children should be on the 1st floor. The big main complaint was the music played 24/7 in the lobby/outside. Didn't get much sleep hearing it on our room on 2nd floor all night. Complained to the front desk. Didn't help!!! What a way to run a businessRooms: Comfortable beds& clean.Nearby activities: Caves to see.

The experience was a great one. The room was excellent. My problem was the wild group of children that were allowed to run the hallway a floor above us. They sounded like a herd of elephants. Got up one morning in, and they were in the elevator about 8 little ones pressing every button. It was totally ridiculous and very loud. Walls were thin because you hear these kids running around making all this unnecessary noise. The hotel itself was beyond my expectations and had quality products from Dove (handwash, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner) dispensers. If you forgot anything of that nature, you were covered. It's better than those little bottles that most hotels provide. The bed was great, especially for 2 people with bad backs. The pillows were nice, big, and fluffy. The price was very high, a 2 night stay. I read reviews for other places, but I still decided to stay here. It was in a convenient location and I felt safe in the area I was in. I would stay again minus the very loud and large group of kids.

This place offers 24 hour service. The location isn't bad. I'm from Lexington and am 2 hours away, so I'm not to familiar with the place. Service is good but I came at 2am. Beds are conformable. No bed bugs. Foods good quality and taste great.

This Holiday Inn was clean and the staff was both friendly and helpful. It is small and the amenities are not extravagant, but it served our needs. The manager on duty allowed us to move our check out time back one hour to accommodate our travel plans. We would stay again.Rooms: Very clean, but lacking in hi-tech amenities: no HDMI plugs, phone charging stations or blue tooth tv.Nearby activities: Nearby shopping and restaurants within blocks either way.Walkability: It is not in a walkable area. The road is busy and there are no sidewalks.

I have the opportunity to travel for business all over the country. This facility is very well kept, it is clean and very nice. The staff, however, is the least friendly I have met in the last several years of traveling. The manager is an obvious example of poor leadership, and her staff reflects her inability to show hospitality in the hospitality industry. The manager, who was standing at her computer at the front desk, did not even acknowledge my wife or I when we came in the hotel, did not tell my wife that someone would be right with her or any of the usual customary greetings a professional would give a prospective client. A young man came to the counter and stated he would help her at the other computer (my wife was standing in front of the "manager" who had still not acknowledged her existence). He finished the transaction, handed the keys to my wife, and didn't say another word until my wife asked what our room number was. His response was, "It's inside the key card folder." We went to our room, which is very nice, and unloaded our belongings. I went back down to talk with the young man and explain that in my travels, I get to write reviews on the places I stay in, and this is a really nice place but it is the most unfriendly place I have stayed at. The manager came out and denied that she was even at the desk when my wife came in, denied that they are allowed to tell clients what their room numbers are out loud (in an empty lobby) and walked away dismissing me with a wave of her hand and a sarcastic "thank you for staying with us". Guess I was correct after all!

Our family had a comfortable night’s stay here during a road trip. We booked a double queen with sofa bed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable in the hotel while my family explored the caves. We all slept well in the comfy beds in the spacious room. Breakfast was great, with ample options for everyone. My husband enjoyed the shower (he has high standards), as did the rest of us. Good restaurants and shops are in the area. We hope to return during the next trip!

Left holiday Inn at horse cave because it was a motel 5 disguised as a holiday Inn. Beds were moist the place smelled musty and old so I went to front desk got a refund and settled in glasgow for 2 days. 5 dollars price difference between 1 star and 5 stars. This place is amazing. Nice up to date courtesy staff and its up to date. One of the nicest I've been in just like most holiday inns are nowadays just not the one in horse cave.Rooms: Very nice and modernNearby activities: CavesSafety: All doors are locked and require key to get in.Food & drinks: There is about 5 restaurants within walking distance.

Booked a room for a single night visit to the city and found this location quite nice. I will admit, I was worried about the fact that it's only a two-star hotel but it wasn't loud, seemed fairly clean, and offered quite a nice amount of amenities. The pool is definitely on the more shaby side, but it's a pool regardless. The breakfast offered was also pretty alright, not outstanding by any means but no complaints. The room though was great, super clean and surprisingly comfortable. Thank you Holiday Inn Glasgow team !!!

Stopped here for the evening on my way home from FL. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and quick to get me a room and checked in.Being later in the evening and having been driving for 11 hrs I was wanting a good long sleep before continuing the next day. I asked and they were very understanding and arranged for a late check-out the next day.The room was clean when went in. Very spacious with plenty of room to not feel crowded. Newer large flat screen. Bathroom was clean with more than enough towels.I was on the second floor. No noticeable noise from above or below as well as very minimal street noise. The only on-site accommodations I used were breakfast, the bench out front to smoke and of course the bed. Just a note...the smoking area was clean and well picked up.Breakfast was standard HIE breakfast. Everything was fresh and warm. No complaints on a hot breakfast and some fresh fruit.Location is good. Numerous places to eat and shop all within 2-3 minutes, some within walking distance. Everyone on staff was pleasant to interact with and all greeted you in a way that made you feel welcome. Will definately stay here if ever in the area again and would recommend to anyone going to the area.Rooms: Room was very clean and spacious. Furniture and beds appeared to be somewhat new. Nice large flat screen TV.Safety: Parking lot was very well lit. Access after hours only with key card or buzzer at front desk.Walkability: Plenty of places within a short walking distance for food as well as convenience store/gas station.Food & drinks: Breakfast was the typical breakfast as in most Holiday Inn Expresses. Wide variety of both hot and cold items to choose from, fresh coffee and juices.

The staff are wonderful people and make sure I have what I need. I'm on my 3rd week of staying here and will probably be here 1 or 2 more weeks. The pool is nice and the breakfast is great. The location is perfect, very close to everything like my job, restaurants, and shopping. OH! and my favorite thing is they use Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash!Rooms: The only negative things I can say about the room is that the plate doesn't fit inside the microwave and it comes off track and moves all over the microwave when using and the carpet could use a shampoo. Other than that its great!

The room was fabulous, nice and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the kitchenette, nice to have a place to always have cold drinks! This was a spur of the moment trip and I was very pleased staying here. We plan on coming back later this year!
