This place has bed bugs and we brought them home with us! I been fighting ever since our 1 night stay to get rid of them!. Check the beds close and do not put ur bags on the bed!

Clean and friendly staff. Hotel with cheap remodel but can’t complain for the price. Beds were ok but not preferred. Overall nothing bad to say but it’s ok and definitely will do when a bind!

Rooms: Beds were very uncomfortable. I and my husband both woke up with our backs hurting so bad. Loved it had an air purifier in the rooms. Bigger fridge than some hotels I've stayed in. Great little sitting area by the window.
Nearby activities: It was a 5 minute drive to the settlement. Which was good because we were exhausted after eating and walking around. But I also wish it was in walking distance
Safety: I loved that after 10pm you had to have a keycard to get in.
Walkability: Not close to anything to walk it in my opinion
Food and drinks: Breakfast was great. Great options.

Pretty solid up there hotel of the four star variety! I would recommend you stop and support mom and pop style establishments.

We bought a package and when we arrived the staff were Awesome , we did have to wait for a room and when we finally got checked in and went to our room to my Surprise there was Johnny Cash !!! I mean the whole room was decorated from every direction , as I have never been a fan I wanted to run out Screaming !!! I wish we had been told up on check in that they have themed rooms . I would have gladly taken a different one which they offered but I just laughed it off and stayed . I felt like we were being watched the whole time Lol !! The rooms were very small , but the Staff , Cleanliness and the Free Popcorn and Breakfast made up for it . It is about 3 1/2 miles from Patti’s Restaurant but that was ok . Just beware and ask about the rooms when booking .

We were greeted with “ I guess I will have to quit what I am doing and check you in” as we walked up to the front desk. I apologize for being a bother and will try other places.

Not happy!! Was woken several times with people coming in and out of the hotel and can hear every little move the people above us makes. You can tell it’s an old building with no insulation. Other than that the staff were friendly and rooms were decent.

I liked it. Some people said the walls were thin, but I have to say I didn't notice. Some people said beds were hard with flat pillows. My bed was pretty nice with fluffy pillows. Staff was friendly and efficient, While I was checking in someone called the front desk to complain about dogs barking and the lady at the desk was on it. Would stay again. Also, I believe some people were complaining about an odor in their room. I think I know what it was. They make popcorn in the lobby, which is nice. I wanted to try some because they had different seasonings to sprinkle on, but I didn't. Anyways, I think that is what has caused the odor, because as you know sometimes the smell of popcorn cooking can be kind of stinky and after making it so many times it has permeated the rooms. Just a guess.

Solid choice of hotels, reasonably priced and right off I-24 in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. I stayed there for two nights instead of lower-priced motels and inns because the owners run the very cool "Patti's 1880's Settlement" where I spent two days dining and shopping. What a great concept including an outstanding restaurant with multiple "Americana-1880's feel" dining rooms plus a large dining area, "Bill's", which features an impressive collection of U.S. Presidential memorabilia. I also visited the "Calvin Swine's Moonshine" where I bought a couple of bottles. In the main store I purchased a sweatshirt, fudge, blackberry jam and strawberry butter. The young women working there are very helpful and sweet. I had an excellent lunch and said hello to "Chip", a co-owner. This needs its own review...
