“Super friendly staff. Was heading into my night shift & stopped in to get a couple energy drinks. My card decided to stop working and I was about to put my merchandise back when the cashier pulled out her personal debit card & paid for my drinks. All she asked for in return was to pay it forward. “I didn't know I can have my FED-EX packages dropped off at the Dollar General Store to prevent theft(it was the first time I had ever tried to have a package left at a Dollar General Store)...I did that online but FED-EX still dropped off my package at the house,(I only put the request in the day before the package was delivered)I guess I should in the future request the packages to be dropped off at a Dollar General Store as soon as I get a FED-EX tracking # for the item(s) being sent.I HOPE IT WORKS PERFECTLY IF I PUT THE REQUEST IN SOONER, THE NEXT TIME.”

“The manager was fabulous. We somehow managed to run out of smoking pellets on Thanksgiving of all days. The manager at the store went in the back and found us several bags of pellets and saved our Thanksgiving turkey. Most people would just say they're out. I'm extremely thankful for her.”

“I have nothing bad to say about any dollar general. I'd you can't find what you need from one then just drive 5 to 10 miles down the road and I'm sure you'll find another one. They employee's are wonderful, usually, there's always a bad apple but for the majority they are great. Great selections, can buy anything from food to car stuff to knick knacks craft supplies dog food and even tobacco products. Very convenient store.”
