Today is Christmas 2023...and Intermountain Cable has graced us with a few hours of service today. My service has been off more than it has been on throughout the day. Giving them a rating of one star is being overly generous. It is sad that they continue to demand full price for services that are only partially rendered.

Inter Mountain Cable has to be one of the worst Internet and cable providers in the country. They advertise way faster internet speeds than you'll ever see, and the internet is very unreliable. And for YEARS they were selling people HD picture on their TVs but they were just stretching an SD image to make it fit a wide-screen TV. They literally fooled people. When watching ESPN with the score ticker you could easily see words and letter shrink and then get faster as they scrolled across the screen. It was awful. If Verizon Fios ever came to this area IMC would be out of business in just a few minutes.

it is either the phone tv or internet but they can not keep it all going at the same time..there for i think their prices should go down ..we are paying 210 per month with this kind of services.

Now that I finally have internet again I can leave a review. It took Inter Mountain Cable six days to come fix my internet. For six days I have had to be home as much as possible waiting for them to come since they "can't give you a time frame of when they might be there". Take my advice, if you have other options when it comes to internet and TV providers, choose the other options.

Several channels go off EVERYDAY , truly everyday. I have three TVs and only one has any of the usual channels that I watch. Channel 71, one of my favorites has been off for over a week. Both other tvs have no channel 3 and 4 and so I cannot access 71, 73, 74 1, 2, 3, 5, 5, 7, and others are NOT accessible. Actually. these channels don't even show up on options.

Very poor service call them multiple times in the last 2 weeks for this problem and they said they would show up three different dates now no shows and then they wonder why I curse them out and come unglued this company is nothing but a joke and I highly recommend you not doing business with them

It's a Ok company,But You pay Big price just for internet,an even get almost $30. 00 bucks? Off but,It goes out to easy,An don't come back on sometimes for days. Because they are all the way in Hazard KY an that's a far distance from me ? an it takes too long for them to fix it an get it back running even on weekends.People pay way to much already for it then have to pay for tv.,I don't, but some do,an They should make enough money ?? to pay there workers to fix it faster then they do ?? That's not good business ??!! They make a lot of money ? theses "company's,an they "need to do better jobs at paying there workers more an better to there customers , with all that money there making off us,An can't pay people to fix it fast an even on weekends !!"Shame " "Simple as that".?

I work from home and my setup requires at least 5mbps upload speed. I pay monthly for 500mbps download and 40mbps upload and since April 17, 2023 I’ve missed 18.5 hrs of work because my upload speed will randomly during the day drop to 2mbps and less! Earlier I checked it and it was 0.54mbps the ISP said it’s AC backfeeding and will not fix my issue until a certified electrician looks at my electricity and writes it down that my network drops is not due to an electrical problem. This is the only provider I can get and I’ve had this issue since Oct 2022 and I’m honestly concerned I’m going to lose my job over this. It’s pitiful!!! It’s the result of careless maintenance and poor management.

If you have other choices, choose the other. Unfortunately, this is the only provider in my area. Constantly going out for no apparent reason, other than a bird landing on the line. When you get a tech out, it seems to be fixed temporarily (not the techs fault I’m sure, it’s the company itself) only to have problems hours or days afterwards. All started with streaming WiFi. If only I had a dollar for every time I’ve tried restarting the modem ?♂️

There are no other service options in my area, so I’m stuck using this company. That being said, my cell phone service is faster than this internet. I’ve lost my job because of continuous interruptions and the inability to stay connected. It’s a shame that it’s 2023, and our ”high speed internet” is as slow as dial up. I’ve called 5 different times in the past two weeks to put a ticket in or get any kind of support, and every time I check my account the tickets are cancelled and I have to call and start the process over again.
