Fantastic food. I had the salmon croquettes with dill aioli and corn pudding. All of the desserts are delicious too, lemon pie is extremely sour and the bourbon cake is very bourbon forward. Also impressed with the vegetarian selections. The kale and spinach salad was one of the best things I've ever eaten.

A wonderful Anniversary experience. The food was amazing and our waitress was so nice. Not your ordinary menu which made it very unique and a special dining experience.

It's always a treat to make the trek to this spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience with the exception of the temperature in our dining room, it was very hot.

Despite the fact that I live in Harrodsburg I never ate here until today. My fiance used to work here when he was a teenager and wanted me to try it out. The food was good I didn't care much for the fried okra because to me it was too salty (I'm not much on salt) but the country ham Panini was really good. But what made me give it 4 stars was the amazing service. Our waiter Timothy was so friendly and just made you feel like you were just a friend over for lunch not just a customer. Timothy noticed I didn't eat my okra so he asked "did you not like it?" I replied "it okay but it was a little salty" so he said "how about I get you a fruit cup or fries" I said wow okay sure a fruit cup thank you ? which had the best pineapple in it I've ever eaten in a restaurant. When we got the bill I thought he'd add the extra side on there but he didn't I was amazed at how great he was I never had a waiter like this before, he was top notch the best. So if you go there to eat I hope your waiter is Timothy because if so you'll have a great experience ?

Shaker Village is one of our favorite, special occassion places to dine. They have a VERY good gluten free menu, including bread and dessert! We have been several times and always have perfectly cooked food. Glenna has been our waitress the last two dinners and she is very warm and attentive. I had the pork chop, green beans and ordered an extra side of mashed potatoes. My husband had the prime rib and brussel sprouts. It was all perfectly cooked! I also enjoyed a peach cider made with their local honey and oh my gosh, it is transcendent! We also indulged in dessert which was a gluten free pumpkin cheesecake in a jar (so good) and my husband had the lemon pie which he enjoyed for its sharpness.

Everything about this place was amazing. I knew it was going to be pricey, which made me expect the food to be just ok. I couldn't have been more wrong! I ordered the pork chop and brussel sprouts. This was, by far, the BEST chop I have ever had anywhere! It was tender, juicy, and thick, with the best flavor! The sprouts were glazed and crispy, with a burst of salty greatness in your mouth! I highly recommend this restaurant for dates, special occasions, or just a family outing. Make sure you have reservations.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant has a kid's menu available upon request. The grounds can be fun for kids, but the inside is limited on space.

We decided to dine in at the Trustee’s Table during our visit at Shakertown and I’m so glad we did. The service, food and atmosphere were nothing short of 5 stars. I had the burger which is grass fed beef & I highly recommend. I believe nearly all their ingredients come from local farmers and even grown there. They have many ingredients that are farm-to-table and I couldn’t support that more. Anyone visiting Shakertown or even passing through Harrodsburg should have a meal that Trustee’s Table!

So, why 3 stars?Well, back in April, I had friends from out of town visiting and decided to take them to Shaker Village then we had dinner here. We were starving from all of the walking. The food was great - everything tasted awesome! The menu had good selections. But, for the price, the serving sizes were small. We all left dinner still unsatisfied and talking about stopping to get fast food because we were all still hungry. Our guests offered to foot the bill, but their credit card was declined even after a couple tries - mind you they are from Canada and said they informed the card company that they would be traveling. Then, the manager came to our table and loudly said, “Is someone washing dishes tonight?”. My husband and I offered our credit card at this point. I just thought she was… rude. Our waiter was great… But after the incident with the manager, sad to say, we decided that we would most likely not eat at the Trustee’s Table again or bring any friends or family to eat there.

Visited this gem of a restaurant on our day trip to Shaker Village. The food is AMAZING. Arguably the best quiche I’ve ever had! It seems like the eggs were freshly picked from the farm field outside and the veggies tasted as fresh as they come too! Delicious and well-balanced meal! The service was top-notch and incredibly friendly!

I would highly recommend stopping at French Camp and the trustees table. We had a very late lunch there twice and both times the service, food and everything was absolutely perfect.

Finally got to visit Historic Shaker Village -after a 45 year wait! The restaurant was a wonderful surprise. Reservations are needed. We had a wonderful breakfast with the best bacon ever. The menu is limited. Biscuits and scrambled eggs main attraction. Dinner menu was much larger with delicious little yeast rolls. I had walleye, it is a small portion which is good because it was very salty. Also a spaghetti squash au gratin casserole. It was delicious. I love that the server told us that we could take our wine outside after dinner to listen to music. Which we did. Also enjoyed another glass while we were out there. Perfect close to a lovely trip to historic Shaker Village.
