“We had our wedding at terrapin this past July. And first let me say, it was an incredible experience.

1st: the venue: the venue was beautiful, we loved the rustic farmhouse and our guests had an amazing time. The pavilion was a lifesaver considering there was a small rain shower during the dinner. The wedding photos we got of the ceremony looked incredible at the chapel. And we used the convience store as a bar area which worked out great.

2nd: Pete and Brenda: they really went above and beyond to make sure our special day was the best it could be. We didnt do a ton of foward thinking while planning. But luckily, they have the knowledge and experience to ask questions you may not think of and help set things up that you never thought about.

Our wedding was honestly more stressful than I could have imagined. I sincerely believe those two helped make it great and would not have changed the location or the people helping us. Thank you Pete and Brenda. You were amazing”

“The 1871 Bed and Breakfast in Danville, Kentucky!
My husband and I have stayed in many bed and breakfast places throughout our years of traveling.
The 1881 Bed and Breakfast in Danville, KY is “hands down”, our favorite one!
It is excellent!
The host/owner, Dan is incredibly kind and so very friendly. He has thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay perfect.
We loved Kathy, who made such delicious breakfast daily. She made several delicious dishes for each breakfast! I loved the oatmeal cake, Kathy. And that bacon was so delicious…the best I have ever had!
We had such a variety of egg dishes, grits, hash browns, peach cobbler, good coffee, etc.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are so very comfortable. The spacious bedroom and bathroom provided such comfort during our stay.

We felt like family during our stay.

And the view is incredible! Perfect sunsets from the superior large porch.

I could go on and on about how much we loved everything about our stay at the 1881.

Thank you so very much Dan and Kathy for everything you provided and did for us during our stay. We will DEFINITELY be back.
