Their great if you need to pick up meds mid-day. If you’re on a tight schedule needing to pick up at 8 am when they “open” you are sofl. They open when they want to and gossip in the back room until they feel like opening up. Pharmacist is always 15-30 mins late and that’s their excuse. Not like they care but we will no longer be using them as our family pharmacy. Do your job and open up on time or find another line of work starting later in the day. Huge inconvenience for someone who actually works and wants to be on time.

I really like the CVS here in Hazard Kentucky it has a variety of items that are on special that I never usually see anywhere else especially their coffee prices on name brands but what really stood out to me was the variety of different types of bourbon and whiskey and various types of liquor I don't see in Colorado so I kept that in mind every time I go in there on which one I want to try but there was a sales lady there she was very pleasant I really wish I knew her name I would like to give her a wonderful review but I find that everyone I have encountered here in Hazard Kentucky has been very pleasant and go out of their way to show very good customer service.

I think it would be really cool if you guys could widen your selection of dairy products at the store and make sure that you keep the essential dairy products in stock throughout the whole day. I’ve came in to CVS near closing hours on several different occasions just absolutely craving a jug of some juicy chocolate milky but to my prevail there are almost never in stock or on the shelf (same thing I think) ;( . I’d be willing to bet they have all that delicious, rich, thick choco milky hidden in the back somewhere…Somewhere just outta my reach ;( . I hope and pray that this message can get passed down to whoever needs to hear it and something gets done about this matter once and for all. Really tho, they need a sign saying “If you want milky milk and it isn’t on the shelf follow these arrows to the back of the store and grab as many as you like”. Realistically CVS would probably need to hire a 24 hour security guard who watched the milky post at all given times of the day/night. But hey, in the grand scheme of things that saves someone from having to refill that wittle baby dairy section you have… Whose job is that anyways?? I mean with it being as small as it is, how in the world can we not keep it full? Maybe being short staffed is another issue you guys face as a store? Idk, anyways like I was saying, I think my experience at CVS could/would be greatly improved/impacted if we had a bigger dairy section, meaning having more shelves in it so more product can be available for customers (such as myself) at ANY given time. It’s mind boggling how in the morning you best believe they got that chocolate milkyyyy on the shelves, Fully stocked to the brim of the cooler door. But when it gets even a little dark outside they all suddenly vanish straight from the coolers. Vanish into thin air with not a single trace in sight. It’s truly some Chris angel type magic.
Anyways another thing that kinda bothers me is how little employees you have working the register or even in the store period. I’m not at Walmart, I actually wanna use the self checkout to gtfo of that place. No, I’m at CVS, I wanna get checked out by someone at the register and yes I do want to have small talk/friendly talk “ What’s up buddy?” “ Welcome to CVS! “ type vibes. You’ll be lucky if the guy/girl/them behind the register is nice enough to even ask you how your day was… I have to really try to pry at them to get some small talk out of them fr, but maybe they are just stressed out because they are the only person running the store. Get more staff for Evening Shifts. You guys should have the same amount of staff on the floors in the morning as you would have in the evenings (besides the pharmacy ofc) it takes stress off your employees and makes them easier to talk to and vibe with.
Anyways, I hope this letter has been helpful and has made you realize that what would make going to CVS more enjoyable would be getting a bigger dairy selection and more employees.
Thank you for your time and for asking for my personal opinion on the matter.
Thank you CVS for always being open when I need you in my darkest hours.
Thank you CVS Staff for all that you do. Your hard work never goes unnoticed (well until you forget to keep the chocolate milky stocked).
God bless

Too expensive to be a convenience store, even if it is convenient.

CVS is without a doubt the most unfriendly, unhelpful pharmacy I have ever been too. There will be 5 or 6 workers and they will completely ignore people and leave them standing waiting.

I spent TWO hours on hold to get through to the local pharmacy. OptumRx REQUIRES I use CVS, so I am forced to transfer my prescriptions. I am on a controlled substance, and I got an error to call the pharmacy before it could be transferred. After 2 hours, I got the rudest rep on the line, she said "we ARE NOT TAKING NEW CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PATIENTS" and HUNG up on me! I will quit my well-paying job before I use CVS Pharmacy, and find a job with insurance that doesn't force me to use CVS. I work in customer service, and I would be ASHAMED to speak to customers like that. Pathetic. Not to mention the two times they picked up and hung up on me. Not to mention the rude front end clerk when I tried to get through that way! SMH. Jokes.

In the midst of getting my insurance worked out. Gave CVS a confirmation number my insurance told to give them to work things out. They said it wasn't their job. Horrible service.

I love our local CVS. Our store is a top-notch store. It stays clean, the aisles are always clear, everything is always where it is supposed to be. Our store manager is great. He is there anytime we go in there and he is always working. He is a great store manager. He is better than any that we have had.One other thing that I noticed that I should mention is the restrooms. They are always clear. We popped in a few days ago and the restroom was very clean.

Every worker there is very friendly, and will help you at any moment you need them. I would give them five stars but they are way too expensive. But it is a good place to go get your medicine and anything else they usually have about everything you may pay a little more but they will usually have it
