I’ve used this Lowe’s for the last 4 years. I never had a negative experience until the other day, leaving me to post this :( I ordered a mattress online and opted for in-store pickup. When I got to the store and checked in, my name popped up on the screen and I was the only one waiting. Around 5 minutes in, another person came in to pick up their order, essentially cut me in line, and we both stood waiting for around another 5 minutes. They handled his order with ease and he was in and out in 15 minutes. I stood for 45 minutes and watched my name turn from green to red. A worker from another department passed by and asked if I’d been waited on yet and I told her no. The girl she sent over was pregnant and was not able to lift heavy things (1000% understandable, I didn’t expect her to) HOWEVER when she called someone to come help me, they loaded it up on a dolly, and told me “I’ll let you take this out yourself”.. I am 170 lbs and I had to load a king size mattress in a box that is 100lbs into the trunk of my SUV. ALONE. the box said it was a team lift, and it took myself and a worker to load it onto the dolly. Yet I was left to myself to load it into my car, all because I’m assuming she did not care. Awful experience.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waited on hold for over an hour to speak to someone because we need a particular item today. They have gotten to the point where they pretend they can’t hear us and put us on mute hoping I hang up. We got hung up on by the person in tools. This is absolutely ridiculous. This is not how you treat a loyal customer coming in trying to spend over $1000+ in your store.

I recently purchased a washer dryer tower that was delivered from Lowes Hazard Kentucky location. So far, my appliance has been great. But my complaint is the third-party that Lowes uses to deliver appliances, Spirit logistics. They damaged my new tile while delivering my appliance. I contacted Lowe’s and filled out paperwork through Spirit to file the property damage claim. I attached pictures of my tile before they came showing no damage and after delivery where you can clearly see scratches and my grout is busted and cracked. I have called Lowe’s and Spirit every day for over two weeks and have had my claim denied twice. The first time I was called a liar and was told that my contractor who laid the tile scratched it with a tile cutter. I was then told it was denied because appliances do not scratch tile in the way my tile was scratched because of the way appliances are made underneath, which also made no sense to me. Especially as to why it was a valid reason to deny my claim. I have four witnesses who were present during delivery, as well as photographic evidence of my tile that was not scratched before they came and now has several scratches and the grout is busted since delivery. Lowe’s tells me there’s nothing more that I can do and Spirit will not answer. They just take a message. Although the delivery service was driving a Lowe’s truck and delivering a Lowe’s product all Lowe’s can do is tell me to contact Spirit or pass on a message. Now I have property damage and no one to take responsibility for causing it. They even had me get the contractor to quote what the repair would cost and I even submitted that! If you do decide to order an appliance through Lowe’s, maybe you should request them not using the third-party service for delivery because if there is any issue, it will not be resolved. Or I suggest recording the entire delivery… I even bought all the necessary things to qualify for free installation and they didn’t even install my appliance. They originally wanted to leave it on my porch and for me to call back and schedule them to install it another time.
UPDATE: I contacted Lowe’s yet again after they replied to this review, saying it would be taken care of… It wasn’t. All I was told is that they’re not going to do anything about the damage.
It’s now September and I’ve had to re open a property damage claim 4 times. Lowe’s and Sedgwick told me it was approved the 3rd time and my check would be I the mail…spirit logistics told me they denied it again and nothing would be resolved. I then update Lowes and they yet again tell me I have to open the case and send it to spirit again. I’ve been in circles since May.

I can’t get to talk to anybody. I need help and it’s not giving me the help I need and it won’t let me talk to a representative I am so frustrated with this

On January 2nd me and my mom purchased a whirlpool washer online they couldn't deliver it cause of bad weather but the weather got better they still wouldn't bring our washer we had dirty clothes falling out of the laundry basket they called said they were coming my neighbor saw them turn around and leave I got my refund back the driver is telling Lowe's the road was icy they lied it was clear as the highway.

Usually in the past it’s a great experience . Lately there’s no specialist in departments when I get there. First I went looking for drive belts and air filters for my riding mower and the guy couldn’t help me find the sizes I needed. I tried to call before I went to the store and I was placed on hold twice and nobody ever came to the phone after 10 minutes or more both times. The lady that answered each time told me she couldn’t help me she would have to find a specialist in that department and she was far from being polite. I went back a few days ago and there’s no employee on second shift about electrical which is a pretty important department. We don’t have many options in this area for the things we have to shop there for so I guess we will just have to deal with it tho
