“I have a lot of really great things to say about this hotel! It’s very convenient to everything you would need. Evansville was missing newer hotels and this is so perfect. Each room even has a little kitchen and full size fridge - who doesn’t love that? Also, the bed was very comfortable. 10/10!”

“My husband and I stayed 1 night on 3/7/24 so we could be close to the line of totality for the eclipse on Monday. Check in was super easy, and we were told that the hotel had placed a goody bag in the room for us in honor of the eclipse.The location was excellent! There are restaurants, stores, and grocery options within a 2 minute drive.Our room was CLEAN (hotel looks fairly new, but you’re speaking my love language if it’s clean!!The lady at the desk advised us that the eclipse was going to take place right over top of their patio and welcomed us to view from there (even though we’d already checked out)!I will TOTALLY stay there again any time we are in the area!Food & drinks: Various restaurants up to 2 minutes drive away”
“It was quiet and to me that’s huge. No slamming doors, no stomping above me. The bed was fine, shower fine. Nothing fancy but the awful smell in the hallways….ugh!We walked in to miss RBF who looked at us like we were interrupting her. No ‘hello’, nothing. I doubt her face has ever smiled. But once she walked out the lady checking us in was very pleasant. We saw the other person several times, never doing anything but standing outside smoking but whatever. Lol.We were just in town for one night for birthday party so my son and his girlfriend stayed with me. If my husband was with us we wouldn’t have made it past the front door. It’s a bit below our normal level.”

“Location was great for the Solar Eclipse. Our stay was amazing!! Lindsey, the hotel manager, went out of her way several times to make sure we were having a great stay! She even visited with us at the eclipse viewing. Highly recommend.”

“Attended conference. Very good meeting rooms and banquet facilities. Food was very good. The downside is that the halls near casino smell of smoke. I will never go into the casino because of the smoke.Walkability: On the riverfront for a nice walk and close to other attractions.”

“I have been at this hotel many times over the last few years and every experience has been great I have a nice room the rate of always been wonderful wonderful and the staff are always helpful Some people seem to think that just because you're in a hotel you can do what you want say what you want and treat staff the way that you want that's not always true it's not always true but as far as America's best value ingos I give them 5 stars and 5 thumbs up wonderful wonderful place and I will continue to have my stays there there whenever I'm in Evansville”

“I had some reservations/concerns reserving a room here, due to several/many reviews I read online, so I wasn't 100% sure what to expect upon arrival. The check in went very well as the 2 ladies there were very nice and helpful. The room & bathroom were both nicely updated and exceeded our expectations. My wife loved that the bathroom was actually a separate room from the sleeping area and also that it has a tub. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel in a long time, everything I tried was great and the lady in charge of breakfast was excellent ! I visit Henderson several times a year and can not eat the breakfast at the other hotels we have stayed at. I continually try, but usually have to throw it away, disappointed. The hotel is located around many good food opportunities, but you must visit Hometown Roots in downtown Henderson. We have been there twice and my wife says they were the best meals that she has had at a restaurant in forever, which was nice since we tend to make a lot of bad restaurant choices. The price was higher than surrounding hotels, but we will still consider staying here each time we visit Henderson. THANK YOU Holiday Inn Express Henderson for a great stay, we truly appreciated it ! p.s. there was 1 small item that I won't post here but will discuss with those in charge if they want to contact me ?”
