“Madison Pike has had long term maintenance issues. Our store hadA/C ALL of 2022. It was ridiculous. Misery for staff, often had to close early & wasted TONS instead of corp fixing it. It was the kind staff our community returned for. I hope DG corp steps up for their employees-especially our store- or sells the company to someone who will. The staff & community deserve responsible owners. Stuey thinks they're fantastic too.”

“Gabe's has items that are different from all the other department stores. The prices are reasonable. This was the first year I did Christmas shopping for toys there. The selection was phenomenal. I couldn't decide. Abundant with unique choices for girls and boys. I scored the coolest robots for my Grandson. There was many to choose from so I bought 4! Gabes doesn't come to mind when I think toys. I left with my cart filled with all the gifts on their lists. And still had plenty of cash in hand to get myself some pleasure items. Gabe's is on my way home....so stopping their often.”

“Never know what you're gonna find! The rewards program is pretty handy not to mention all the other member perks you get. Constantly getting random coupons which is always fabulous. Super friendly staff. Very helpful and attentive. Beverly is my absolute favorite outta everyone. Clearance is ALWAYS fairly good size. Multiple islands. “I shop at both dollar general next door and family dollar! Dollar general is rarely open because of being short staffed and they have more inventory in the aisles then on the shelves. While at family dollar James who is older and disabled is always there and their aisles are clear! In a society where healthy people sit and bum with cardboard signs James works his tail off almost everyday! No excuses people! This man is an inspiration to many and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! God bless you James keep up the hard work!”

It's never cleaned up. Trashed. Never anything on the shelves just everything sitting in those carts and we have to dig them out ourselves. I might as well get paid if I gotta help people because the stock isn't on the shelf's.”

“In reply to the other Karen's. Yes, I have also seen the sign on the door, and although it may not be the nicest rule, I don't disagree. The schools in the area don't have bus transportation so when multiple kids are coming in rough housing as the manager said (I'm sure on more than one occasion) I would probably be fed up too. The kids are getting out of hand and parents are not taking responsibility or care. Don't give a business a bad review based on this. Businesses are tired of being built in babysitters. I will say this store is always so much cleaner than the one off of Turfway/Burlington pike and the people are friendly.”

“I will tell you that your employees truly made my visit a memorable one. I was purchasing cleaning supplies, and had a couple of bags that were pretty heavy. Felicia and Quin certainly went the extra mile, as after Felicia double bagged my cleaning sprays, she asked Quin to grab a cart for me. I told them I would be fine, and I would gladly (try;)) to carry all my bags myself. Quin said that she would be happy to walk to my car with me, because she knew I probably had way too many bags to carry on my own. Service with a smile, and going the extra mile really isn’t that common anymore. It was so refreshing.”
