I have only lived here in Independence for four years, all of my vehicles have been and are under warranty so I am forced to take them to the dealer. This time I had a part the dealer "fixed" fall off my truck. Since I am a Maintenance Tech, I depend on my truck. My neighbor takes all of his vehicles here and highly recommends this place. I took my truck up to have them take a look, he felt good about fixing it properly. I begged that I need my truck by Thursday but if not the dealer couldn't fit me in for two weeks. So I was willing to roll the dice. Working from home for the day I dropped off around lunch time and maybe two hours later I got a text that it was done. I called the shop thinking it was a mistake and they were just checking it in - and was told no it was ready. Now I know everything cant go quick like that, but they got my vote. Friendly from the front desk to the back, these guys certainly care about your vehicle.

Took my car in with a bad catalytic converter, had it back 24 hours later. Fair pricing, excellent communication and insanely quick. The only place I'll be taking my vehicle from now on.

These folks are good. They will give you the honest truth on your vehicle and what you actually need done vs an upsell. They charge fair labor and back their work up. I have taken all four of my vehicles to them and my tractor to their other shop. Give them a shot and you will be pleased.

Best shop around. Took my car to Wyler twice, Zimmer and another chrysler dealer in Lexington for same issue. Combined they had it for 4 weeks. I spent over $1k and none of them could determine problem. Took it to Independence Automotive and they fixed it and had it back to me in one day. I will never take my car anywhere else.

My engine light came on and I was in a bind to get my car looked at and fixed ahead of the weekend. The process was SO easy at independence automotive! I dropped my car off Thursday and by Thursday evening I had a text with an estimate and a synopsis of what was wrong. The estimate was transparent and I felt very comfortable with the process. My car was ready by the next morning and they kept really great communication the whole time. The prices were extremely reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this local business to anyone in or around independence. We’ve found our new body shop!

Honesty and integrity is what you will get from them. Took my car in and the initial repair didn’t work out so brought the vehicle back for further repairs. A loaner car was provided while the repair was being made. I obtained a flat with the loaner and it required tow service. Independence Auto covered the tow fee to help me out. Great people and a great shop.

They are very reasonably priced and can/will work on just about anything from my jeep to my Porsche they have done it all. All the work they have done has been great, I don't have a single complaint. I can't recommend them for enough and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Hands down best place to go. They have always taken great care of mine and my husbands vehicles. We actually stopped going to another place and went here and has always had great service.
