J and D Masonry recently repaired a 60+ year old retaining wall holding up my front yard. It had been the first time the wall was worked on since it was built and it was beginning to lean and crumble. The wall is about 80ft long and needed a lot of work, and they were up for the task. They were very timely, clean, and reasonably priced. I even accidentally overpaid David after the wall was complete and he was 100% honest. The wall looks great and I now have peace of mind. Highly recommended!Service: Refurbishment

After over a month to get them out for the job they show up for day one and leave one guy here (Steven) whom I’m pretty sure is the only one who wants to work. After day one it took about a week for them to show back up. They patched about 1/10 of what they took out then didn’t show up for a week or 2, David did not respond to calls or texts leaving interior exposed to the elements. When I bumped into him while I was walking he said Joey would be doing it. Joey shook my hand said he would be there tomorrow and he would knock it out, he never showed up. He showed up about 3 days later for four hours and made zero progress. While here he said David messed up. After calling both numerous times I finally got ahold of Joey and was told “I told David not to quote your job, it’s too much and too difficult and I don’t want to spend that much of my life on your house” I finally got back ahold of David to basically tell him I wanted my money back and pick up their stuff. He was very apologetic and said he would be there the next day at 10am, never showed so I called him, he ignored my call and texted me that it was “his bad, I’ll be there Monday” I then told him to pick up his stuff and give me my money back. While they knew I wouldn’t be home they grabbed their things and headed out 4 days later.
