I have been going to Walgreen's for my meds and shopping since 2019..I spend a large sum of money there annually. Yesterday, after receiving several alerts on my phone I went to pick up two prescriptions. The pharamacy tech...dark haired, female, severe in appearance and demeanor, asked if she could help me..I told her my name and said I had two items to pick up..she looked on her computer and told me "You have nothing here"! I told her my first name and gave her my DOB...she spend about two minutes fussing with her computer and said "Oh, here you are". She then grabbed the two items and in a loud voice asked me to give her my SSAN number..there were people everywhere..I said not out loud, no! How about a piece of paper and I'll write it down...she gave me paper, I wrote it down...she logged it in and asked me if I wanted the paper back..I said yes...got my meds and left..her customer service skills were zero..seems as if every time I go in there there is somebody new working in the booth there..anyway, I didn't like the way she conducted herself in her position as a customer service rep..she was essentially cold and borderline rude...

The absolute worst pharmacy in Independence. Most of the employees are rude and have an attitude. Every single time, without exception, there was something wrong when I went to pick up my prescriptions. Moved all my meds to another pharmacy further away but worth it not having to deal with those people.

The most unreliable, poorly run pharmacy in NKY! You’ll never get anyone to answer the phone. You’ll sit on hold for literal hours just to be hung up on before being able to talk to someone. You’ll show up to pick up a medication you’ve been told is ready that your child desperately needs only to find a note on the window that they’re closed for the day randomly. Then you’ll be told that another location can’t fill the prescription because they need a new order from the doctor… on a Sunday… after you’ve been unable to fill it prior, been trying to get in contact with them for days, and no one communicates that they’ll be closed so you can plan ahead to get the prescription moved. I’m moving all our prescriptions immediately. Completely unreliable pharmacy! This is not the first time this has happened either. Just horrible.

After trying the app and it not working, I called the store. I was on hold 30 minutes . Upon answering, I was told that they would fill my script and that it should be ready in 15-20 minute. I arrived to pick it up 2 hours later and and was told to wait for 15 minutes because it wasn't ready. I understood being short staffed, but that's just not right. So here I sit!

The staff at Walgreen's locally here in Independence does a great job consistently when I have to reach out to them to clarify a refill or other technical question. Staff is always pleasant and accommodating. It helps to have this type of customer service knowing how busy they are at times. Their reorder of prescriptions is helpful as well.

Nearly every time I’ve had to deal with this locations pharmacy it is nothing but a headache. I’ve used other locations in the past without the same issues. The pharmacy customer service is extremely lacking and do not care if something needs done, you have to constantly call and keep on top of them to get anything done that requires your dr office to communicate. They will claim they haven’t heard anything back from your doctor but ask them to double check, 90% of the time they received a message but didn’t check it.Additionally since I’ve recently started using prescription savings cards (more than 1) I have noticed Walgreens is on average $10 or more expensive than any of their competitors, usually a lot more expensive. I use to trust this company that they cared for their customers genuinely but it’s transparent they no longer do.

Please require your pharmacists to use masks. Phillip K's was hanging on one side of ear, female pharmacist pushed her down to chin, exposing her entire face all day today. That should NEVER happen!

Poor service at the pharmacy Lazy Yesterday they told me to come back today after 9:00 to pick up my prescription. Today, They would rather me drive for 40 minutes to come back later instead of just finding my prescription. Seen the FedEx delivery guy walking in the store over 1/2 hour ago, now they are saying they still don't have it to come back later. I live 20 minutes away. Just lazy
