Walked into this store with my husband and kids, as were out of towners and love antique stores. It was 10:45, he closes at 11. Tells me to hurry up because he’s ready to close and doesn’t like kids in his store. Wouldn’t give him a dime of mine! Rudest man I’ve ever came across in Jamestown, KY!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

We are visiting from out of town on our fall break and found this place on google. We all love antiquing and were very excited to pay this place a visit. Everything seemed very quiet and nice when we got there. They had a a very cool, turned on and plugged in, ‘45 jukebox that had some very good music in it, so I selected it. It began to play, but there were no signs indicating it should not be used anywhere to be found. When I needed assistance turning it off, the younger guy said everything was fine, but the older gentleman screamed at me, saying “I should be sorry” for turning it on and “I shouldn’t touch anything” even though I am an adult, well aware of things that are fragile. After that, we spent about 15 more minutes in the store. Once we got in our car, about 11:15 am, (they are supposed to be open until 12:30), they proceed to lock up the store and get in their car as well. While we were putting in directions to our next destination, the older gentleman proceeded to walk over to our car and tell us that we should “go on and get out of here so they can close the gate”. The antiques were very interesting to look at, but not worth it for the price or the rude man.

We tried 6 days to go to this antique store. The store hours are open everyday other than Wednesday 9-12:30 pm per website. We tried calling and noone picks up. This antique store is 9 miles out and so that was 2 tanks of wasted gas. They seriously need to update their website and out closed indefinitely!

We were visiting when we came across on old just box, we have one similar. It was plugged in, lit up and on free play. I pushed a couple buttons and it Gagan to play and we continued to browse. A couple minutes later a grumpy old man walked up to me and said unless I'm going to buy it, don't touch it....REALLY?? No sign on it, no do not touch, nothing. Avoid this place unless you want your day ruined.

I called this business just to find a grumpy old man. I had a simple question about the hours of operation during the holiday season. He told me that he does not do business on the phone, and then he hung up. I tried to call back a couple of times, but he refused to answer the phone. So we did not stop at his business.

The man working in this place is incredibly rude. The sign on the HWY says it's an antique store and ice cream parlor. We went in with the kids for a root beer float and when we asked the man behind the counter about it, he told us we got wrong info. If you want ice cream or a friendly face this is not the place to go. If you want old rusted out junk, this is your destination.

We were going to purchase three items but put them back when the man behind the counter became rude over us putting a nickel in a pinball machine and we began to play it. We looked it over pretty good to make sure there was no sign that said "do not"play this machine that is plugged in.He informed me that everything does not have to have a sign especially something that expensive. I'm a little sad we spent a Nicole there but glad we didn't spend the seventy two.
