“I visited this Dollar Tree in June 2022. The staff was very pleasant. I lost my phone, and when I back tracked where I lost it, it was still in the shopping cart where I left it before leaving the store. I was so blessed to have been there.”
“Very polite and the wait time in line was very quick but efficient. Store was cleaner than other Dollar Stores I've been in. They let me have my service dog without any questions. When at another dollar they made me leave. They said customers were complaining when the customers were telling me how cute he was. And I told them he was a service dog. And you aren't supposed to touch a service dog. He is a Shih Tzu. Maybe 10lbs. I was shocked that she made me leave. But other than that. My experience today was much better. And they had more and different stuff than the other Dollar Store.”
“During these hard times with a deadly virus, many businesses have closed. Those that haven't closed shop have cut open times drastically. This Dollar General store didn't close up. They didn't close early. I only wish they had toilet paper.”

“This place is a paradise. I underestimated this place, but this place Is really good. It has almost everything.The staff in this Dollar Tree location (near Patels Groceries) is really awesome.They're helpful even though most of products are of 1.25 dollars. “The only complaint I have about this store is there inability to keep staff. However the staff members that are employed at this particular location bust their butts to make sure shoppers find what they are looking for. Conditionally the reason for the forest are complaint is because I always have to double check that my digital coupons are ran through.”

“I recently visited the Galene Drive Dollar General after more than a month away, and I was genuinely impressed by the transformation. Typically, Dollar General stores can be a bit chaotic, with merchandise blocking aisles and clutter everywhere. However, this location was a pleasant surprise. It was well-lit, clean, and organized—an absolute turnaround from my previous experiences.
The store manager was exceptional. She greeted me warmly and was attentive to every detail, including managing the store’s atmosphere and addressing customer needs. I witnessed her interaction with a group of young boys who came in after school; she addressed them by name and kindly reminded them to leave their backpacks at the door. Her approach was neither aggressive nor condescending—more like a caring figure who knows her community well.
She also made a point to apologize for the air conditioning being out, even though it was not immediately noticeable. My wife visited the store a week later, and the AC issue was still apparent. The manager again offered a respectful apology and used my wife's name, which showed a personal touch and genuine concern.
This store has clearly benefited from a dedicated manager who seems to be making a significant positive impact. It's heartening to see a store like this thriving with customers who were leaving with full bags. However, I do have some concerns about whether upper management will provide the necessary support to maintain this positive momentum. If the manager is not adequately supported, there's a risk the store could revert to its previous state.
I'll definitely consider updating my rating once the AC issue is resolved, as it will be a sign that the store is receiving the support it deserves. In the meantime, I encourage others to visit this store and experience the impressive turnaround for themselves!”
“My fav dollar general ever. Always stocked & the manager (younger female) is super sweet & helpful.I stopped in on 1/27/2023 later in the evening, there was an older man in front of me who was walking with a limp, seemed a bit disabled. His card only approved a certain amount of his transaction, when the cashier (younger looking woman, dark hair) told him this he stood there in silence. The cashier took it upon herself to pay for this man’s entire transaction. I assume she was knew & didn’t have the full ropes on the register yet because she stated she didn’t know how to do split payment. This man did not even thank the cashier for paying for his stuff. Times are hard these days, most of everyone is struggling in some way. So THANK YOU to the cashier who went out of her way to do a nice thing for a complete stranger, who didn’t even thank her ??”

“This is not a compliment as lines are always long at ALL locations and the staff turnover is high.
It is a $1.25 store!! What do you expect. Today I heard a woman complaining for lack of customer service due to the lines. People want 5 star service from company that is barely 1 star. The staff can be rude no doubt. Customers complain, the good staff quits.
This used to be a $1 store, now they had to raise the price a quarter just to be in business. Places are always packed & unstaffed because we want stuff cheap. If you want service goto Costco.
I want these stores to suceed, they are needed in this financial crisis.
People who complain about service at a dollar store, you are the reason prices are so high.
Sorry about the vent on the customers, I just want to be able to shop at places like this.
You get what you pay for! Take your business elsewhere, but more than likely it's your only choice financially. Soon you won't have a choice & learn how to live in a 3rd world country.

Maybe you should shop somewhere else if you have such an issue with the way the employees look at this location.While this store could be a little better at keeping things in stock, this store has been extremely convenient in grabbing a few things when I don't feel like going all the way to Kroger or Walmart. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful.”
