The park's lush greenery, pristine walking trails, and serene water features are a breathtaking sight to behold.
The kids absolutely loved the playground area and the interactive water feature - it was a hit! And for us adults, the scenic bike trail offered an excellent opportunity for some quality exercise while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The park's event spaces were also immaculate and provided the perfect setting for our family gathering.
The staff at Beckley Creek Park were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I can't recommend this park enough! “We recently hosted our holiday party at Progress Park Resort & Event Venue, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The venue is flat-out gorgeous during the holiday season—truly a serene and beautiful setting. All we had to do was bring in centerpieces; they took care of everything else, which made planning stress-free.
The team at Progress Park is fantastic—responsive, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. They made the entire process seamless from start to finish. There’s plenty of parking, which was a big plus for our guests.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this business. They are amazing, and Progress Park is the perfect place for any event. Highly recommend!”

“Bradshaw-Duncan recently experienced a fire in the main house, but I attended a wedding recently and the staff has the place looking very nice. They have had additional bathroom and changing facilities brought in, and the grounds and outdoor facilities are beautiful. The views from the rear look almost like the Smokey Mountains, really quite nice and almost hard to believe you are still in Oldham County. I hope they get the house repaired soon, but for now they are definitely making the most of a bad situation. I'm glad they didn't make my nephew and his bride postpone their wedding, had I not been told of the fire I would have never known about it given the condition of the rest of the facilities. The wedding was lovely!”

“We were in town for our daughter’s graduation and happened to find Locust Grove’s 60s holiday tour. We enjoyed the tour. It was fun to see Christmas decor that I recognized from my grandparents house when I was growing up. The information was interesting along with the connections to US history and individuals from history.”

“I attended a field trip with elementary school kids here today. Staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating. All the employees were super educated on their topics, the history, and were amazing with the kids making everything kid friendly. Museum was super cool as well. Highly recommend! The kids and even adults learned a ton! Be aware photography /phones were only allowed in certain locations.”
“This year was my second year bringing my little boy and we, once again, had a great time! I loved what they did with the tickets this year. I feel like it deterred some folks from coming and although it was still pretty packed, it was much more organized and calm. I, personally, was not worried about safety last but i agree seeing this year, i can see why people would feel this way was safer. We went on Halloween night and were able to hit all of the houses on the main street and one steet over in about 1.5 hrs.”
“My team and I have worked many weddings at Whitehall providing hair and makeup services (The Beauty Patrol). I love that there’s a designated space for us to provide services with good natural, lighting and plenty of counter space to set up. In addition, the photos of weddings at Whitehall are always top-notch. The gardens are a lovely spot for weddings.”

“This a nice theater. I love the reclining seats. The only con is watching a late movie. The concessions were closed before we were half way through the movie. We do like coming here to watch earlier movies.”

“Very very clean and well kept hotel. As soon as we walked in I could SMELL how clean it was in there. No trash or dust in any of the public spaces. Room was very clean. They were very helpful when I had questions about checking in after midnight. Pretty good food, and a good selection, my picky eater kids each found things they both liked. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We always have a great time here, even the adults and kids. I’ve booked my kids party a few times through this years at this place and we are never disappointed. They always have fun and from what I seen it is not rundown like others have said. The ball pit looks improved and even us adults got into the play area at one point. I had fun and so did the kids. There’s everything you need there like a fridge, countertops, bathrooms. There’s a Roku tv mounted to the wall and a basketball goal as well. I really enjoy that we have the place to ourselves during parties too.”
