Vivian is the absolute best. She’s the only nail artist in Oldham County that has always been able to deliver. Anyone complaining about pricing are stingy people because their prices are EXTREMELY fair.

I normally would not leave a review because I understand anyone in business is trying to do the right thing by earning a living and not depending on the government or others to take care of them. I went to LA Nails for a fill in a few days ago. The young lady that works in that salon is very pleasant and professional. She takes her time and does a nice job BUT unfortunately, she was busy so an elderly man was the one I got. I was at the polish station looking for a color - asked him if he had it and he seemed agitated that I asked so I grabbed a color close to the one I wanted and sat down. He removed my current polish, I asked for my nails to be cut down so he used the dremel tool to do so, being a little rougher than I have experienced at another salon, cut them but I asked for them to be shorter and he snapped. He rushed through filling my nails, filed them quickly and roughly and painted them. I sat for 30 minutes + to let them dry and he seemed to want to rush me out the door so I left. I went to my car and started it, pulled out and realized a few of my nails were clumpy and not fully dry. I went back in and he removed polish from one finger and repolished it but snapped again saying it was my fault for not being careful. The very next day (2 days after my appointment) the polish is chipping off. I paid $30 for a fill in plus 20% tip like I have done at another salon and was not treated so disrespectfully. I would only go back if the young female does my services. He will likely post a negative response as he does to anyone that complains with good reason about the services received, so I am giving all of you a heads up - please support our local nails salon BUT request that he does NOT perform a service I know you will be unhappy with or his rudeness. I was very polite and never disrespected him like he did to me.
Maybe he will realize without consumer support he would not have a business. I paid cash in order to prevent them from having fees due to credit card processing. It’s not fair to condemn the salon so I’m not doing that - I just want him to understand he needs to be a little nicer with his tone and actions since the customer is the reason he has a business when there are many other salons competing with him.

I have been going to Vivian for the past 3 years and she always does amazing! This is the only place I will go to for my nails they are quick, kind, and the price is always very reasonable. My nails last 2 weeks to a whole month! Plus I get my toes done here only- and the kind gentleman always asks me if it looks good to me before he cures the gel.

I went to Anthony Vince salon today and paid $65 for a mani pedi and did not get Gel (My mistake) Anyways needless to say, I messed them up before I got home. I stopped at L.A. Nails and asked them to take the old polish off my toes/fingers and use Gel. The man that done charged me $50 ( plus tip $10)! I guess I should have asked the price first. This price is ridiculous. I will not be back there again. Completely dissatisfied.

Went here on the 14th of February. Typically don’t get my nails painted alone but thought I’d surprise my wife. The woman doing my nails was really nice and looked to have done a good job. After one day my thumb chipped. Thought it was my fault. The day after that, the whole nail came loose so I decided to get it off since it’d just be a nuisance. As I did, the other nail came off

Absolutely love this place!! Everytime I walk in there. I leave feeling better about myself. They are literally best. I’m 26 and I been been getting my nails done since I was 14. Out of every one I have been to. This one is the best!!

Good experience! Felt a bit rushed and the skin around the nails still had polish on them. However, very friendly shop and when I accidentally smudged a toenail they fixed it for me with no problems!

Had my first mani-pedi today and the older gentleman did a wonderful job. Thank you LA Nails. I will be back!I did return but was disappointed this time e. Dept of Health agent stopped in unannounced and was vocal about several sanitary issues. Staff seemed a bit shaken and my manicure was finished in haste. I will not be back.
