Been trying to get this straightened out for two months now . Was told they couldn’t refill my tank because it needed to be moved. And was told they would move it 10 ft for free but if wanted moved farther it would cost . Short story they now want to charge me over $300 to move . I’ve never requested to be moved to start with . But they still have my $200 and something money that I paid for my gas that I’ve still not got. every time I call they tell me they turn it over to their supervisor and they will call me back in 24 to 48 hours and I have not received one phone call yet. This is been going on for two months I called this Thursday and they told me that they had worked it all out that they was going to move my tank for free and put gas in it at the same time which was supposed to be scheduled for today, so I called them to see exactly what time they gonna be there today to be towed but now they don’t say nothing in the system about it and what notes they had is locked and that I will get a phone call in 24 to 48 hours which I’m sure I won’t because I never have . at this point, I just want my money back that they have and interest with it and I will try to find a different gas company to do my business with .

Service level is terrible, gas was to be delivered within 7 days of placing my order, each late day I called I was told it would be delivered the next day. The help line has no access to delivery schedules, no reasons for non delivery, no way to change the number of days remaining in the tank, no way to really expedite or help.

I’ve waited on my delivery for two months and they still have not delivered it. I’ve called every day only to be told that my delivery will be there the next day (they never show). Whenever I ask to speak to a supervisor to get the situation figured out, they refuse to let me speak to anyone and state they are too busy for my call. It’s a shame they are making customers pay for a service they are unwilling to provide.

Since AmeriGas has closed the local offices it is taking longer to get a delivery. I’m on automatic delivery but have to call every time my propane gets low. Then most of the time my propane level is in the teens before a delivery is made.

Amerigas is terrible to work with. We miss Foster's Propane. Amerigas has terrible customer service and we never got our issue resolved. Will be moving our business elsewhwere.

They said they would not fill the tank in my motorhome, even if I drove it to their location in Leitchfield. But, they also won't see customers in person due to COVID-19 in October 2022. Good luck staying in business.

Due to a change in regulations I have to get my propane tank moved by Amerigas before they will re-fill it. This has been a scheduling nightmare. They say they have scheduled the tank to be moved multiple times and I get a text confirming the appointments. However, either no one shows up, or they aren't the right person who can move the tank or they call and say they can't get to my location because they are overbooked. I asked to speak to a manager but was instructed there is no direct line to a manager. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

We called AmeriGas on 1-26-22 to report that our tank was totally empty. We talked to a representative that spoke with a heavy hard to understand accent. Who told us that we would have gas delivered to us in 8 days! We informed her we were totally out and getting ready to have a bad ice storm. She had no solution to this problem. 8 days later still no delivery. We received an automated call saying they would be there the next day. Next day came still no delivery. We called again left messages and got another automated call back that they would be there in 2-3 days…. Today is 2-6-22 still no gas. Do not use this company!

Their customer service is horrible.Would not ever ever get gas thur them. Since they were bought out by Amergas customer service is the worst.DONOT GET GAS THUR THIS COMPANY

When this was Foster's Propane service was excellent. Now as Amerigas I can,t seem to get propane delivered. I've been waiting for three weeks since placing my order and am getting low (<15% remaining) on gas. Customer service keeps saying, "We've escalated your delivery", but NOTHING! They say they'll have someone call me, but NOTHING! They've told me they've emailed the supervisor, but NOTHING! Be very cautious before committing to any contract commitment with Amerigas (at least in Grayson County KY.)

Read the reviews and it looks as if I’m not the only one having a problem. Ordered gas online and seen that was having ice storm coming in so I called to see if I could get it sooner. I was told I could but if I understood correctly was told it would cost me a $300 emergency fee. Really?!? I’ve been a costumer for over 20 years and that’s what I’m told!! Too late in the season now but as soon as my tank is empty I will be getting a new gas company.
