Took my truck here to have the transmission looked at. They told me it would need a transmission rebuild and a brake fluid flush which they quoted me $6400. I decided to look around for a better price and when I picked the truck up there was trash left in my truck and they had driven it over 60 miles. They denied driving it that far and denied leaving trash in my truck. I spoke with 4 others notable transmission shops and they were all well below what these guys quoted me. I would not recommend these guys at all.

10/10 service. AAMCO was informative, polite, FAST, and MUCH cheaper than the dealership. They even worked with my warranty company to make sure they paid the claim so I didn’t have to. If I could give them 6 stars, I would!!

We took our suburban here to have the transmission rebuilt, it was never fixed correctly. The blame was put on bad parts which they purchased. The Warranty period was the same from when they first rebuilt the transmission. So basically when the transmission failed the last time it was out of warranty. They actually rebuilt it twice and replaced the torque converter twice I will never bring a vehicle to this place again.

I want to thank Eric, the shop manager and Brandon the Shop tech who worked so hard with me today to troubleshoot my AC problems. It looked like it was gonna be $1200-2000 fix. By researching together became up with a $500 fix. Not many shops would let a consumer put their hat in the ring on fixing a problem. But it saved me a whole bunch of money and I appreciate that so much, and my hats off to Brandon because he was willing to listen and he had the problem fixed with no extra parts in no time flat. I also appreciate that every time I go over there, they will show me everything that they need to do and why they need to do it. I don’t know if there any cheaper than others and maybe they’re even more expensive than others but the fact that they are willing to show me what they’re doing and why and let me put my two cents in makes a big difference. Especially on days like today.

For the first time in my life, I am fully impressed by the service done in a mechanic shop specifically at AAMCO today. Hopefully, all other mechanics and management from other dealerships should visit this shop to learn the true meaning of efficiency and customer service.
I took my Dodge Journey to be repaired for overheating problem on 4/29/2024.
I had both the "thermostat and oil filter adapter replaced" .
I was served by Eric Edson who is the kindest and most knowledgeable expert in the car business at the front desk. Please promote Eric Edson to the highest position within AAMCO, else someone will notice this and take Eric to their business. Brandon is an excellent mechanic that should be promoted too.
My only concern is the high labor cost that AAMCO charged (billed me) , that is, $311.50 for a job completed within 3 hours (meaning labor is 103 per hour.
In a nutshell, I highly recommend AAMCO and hope all people with car issues visit these trustworthy and diligent car experts.
Kudos to AAMCO and continue with your excellent work

I brought my van to AAMCO on Monday 3/18/24. I called the Friday before 3/15/24 and spoke to Eric. I told him the van needed valve seals and he said bring it in. When I got there I spoke with Eric and the lead mechanic. I told them the symptoms and the lead mechanic agreed that it needed valve stem seals. I left there thinking I was in good hands and they would take care of it. Shop time for valve seals is 5 to 6 hours. When my phone rang about 5 and 1/2 hours later I figured they were calling to say its done. Instead they told me #1 they couldn't put it up on the lift cause its too high. #2 they couldn't hook there computer to it. Any mechanic knows that you don't have to lift it to do valve seals and a scanner for that year van won't tell you if it has bad valve seals. Bottom line they cost me $40 in transportation fees plus gas for there and back. Altogether 1hr and 40min driving time and a full day wasted. If they couldn't do the valve seals why not just tell me when I called on Friday? I feel as though they just had easier jobs waiting so they blew me off. Very unprofessional and put a hurting on me for the wasted time and money and I don't think they realize that or just don't care. Waste of time and money. Mark Hearn

I appreciate this store so much. Always kind, helpful, and honest. I really appreciate the free engine checks and fair quotes.Had a slight burning smell coming from my engine. They checked and it was just some spilled oil from my last oil change. They cleaned it up and gave me a heads up on my breaks that needed replaced.
