They are honest and reliable car repairman. Cotton is a good man.When they couldn't find the parts to fix my car in a timely fashion they just made it work. When my fiance had to bring her minivan in they had the alternator done the next day. Athens might be a little bit outside of Lexington, but it's well worth the drive. Their garage even has an old-timey feel to it like service centers of days gone by.I'm so glad I was recommended to them and I hope this review recommends them to you.

I was traveling cross country when my low tire pressure light came on. I found Athens Service was nearby and drove straight there. They checked my tires, put in air, and I was back on the road in just a few minutes. And no charge. Thank you Athens.

I usually do most of my wrench turnng on my vehicles myself, but some of the bigger stuff I don't want to tackle anymore . They have worked on 3 of my vehicles so far and have met and went beyond my expectations on these major repairs and with a very fair price to boot. I had my car towed to Athens Service Center based on a recommendation. I dialed the number after a crazy work day and my car dying and Cotton immediately made me laugh, lowered my blood pressure and put me at ease. That’s excellent customer service. Then, he got to my SUV in a timely manner, explained everything they were doing and charged me more than a fair price. As long as we live in Lexington, I will bring vehicles to Cotton and I highly recommend them.Services: Transmission

Cotton and his team are AMAZING! My vehicle was making an AWFUL noise that made it sound dangerous to drive. I had previously taken my car to another shop and they stated that nothing was wrong with my car. I believed them and as I drove my car the noise proceeded to get louder and louder. This is a great automotive shop. They do great work and they are very honest. They stay busy for a very good reason. Do not hesitate to give them a call for all of your mechanical needs. Shop/garages like this are very hard to find. Cotton is a topnotch business owner.
