Listen.. a lot of us have been a victim of messy mechanics and auto repair shops that have caused more damage instead of fixing what was asked.
Took my car to Auto Excel after reading the reviews. They told me they would take a look and perform a thorough inspection on my car.. sure, why not. I was brought up to take care of your vehicle and keep it maintained.
They called and emailed the minor nonemergency repairs at which you have the option to approve or decline your repairs. Since they had my car already, I approved everything. Got my car back running smoothly.. A few days later, they called and said, there was a couple small things that we didn’t need for your car and we need to give you a refund..ummm, who does that..??♀️.
This is a HONEST & REPUTABLE Auto Repair Shop!
Thanks Auto Excel for taking care of my girl!

I would have to say overall that it is a good shop to take your vehicle. If it wasn't for my insurance company endurance it would have probably been quicker. But I believe they went as quick as they could with what they had to work with. And for the work that they done I feel it was fairly priced. I would recommend anyone having car trouble to go there.

Best inspection of my vehicle I’ve ever had. The work they did on my engine was quality, reasonable, and came warrantied by them. They even checked in weeks later to make sure everything was still running smoothly.

It’s a good place, but if you’re looking for just a simple oil change it’s not for you. Took the same car I had 5 months ago where it got evaluated to just get an oil change. Well, you need to have another full evaluation. So a scheduled appointment for a 15-30 minute oil change is actually 2-4 hours

We've always been highly satisfied with Auto Excel. The customer service representatives are top-notch! We feel like their prices are reasonable, and they can be trusted with recommendations -- making sure our cars are safe but not offering extraneous, unnecessary repair suggestions. On our most recent visit, we approved $1,200 in repairs based on their initial assessment of our car's issues. When they actually started the repairs, they realized that the problems weren't as bad as they originally thought, and the work ended up only being $650. I thought that showed integrity on their part, and we'll continue bringing our cars here in the future!

This has to be the absolute best place to go in Lexington for general or foreign car repairs. Was definitely a hidden gem when I needed repairs done for my child’s mini cooper. I’ve always been blown away by their professionalism and customer service. The mechanics are highly skilled, meticulous, and proficient. The service estimates they send via email with pictures and thorough descriptions of their findings has to be my most favorite feature they offer. Highly recommended
