BUYER BEWARE - I purchased a brand new Kimber from Cabela and paid full price. The firearm would not fire straight out of the box! Now I am shipping it to Kimber for a fix. Cabela said they could not exchange due to it being a firearm. They later admitted that is a Cabela policy. They could exchange but CHOOSE not to. So in essence, we paid full price for a gun that will have to be repaired and there is no recourse. I will NEVER purchase another firearm from Cabela. If you purchase a firearm here, know their policy is just a Cabela thing. Some gun shops stand behind what they sell, this one doesn't!

Tonight, we had to do a late run to grab something quick for tomorrow and drive from out of town. They were closed 30 mins earlier than posted outside and online. and they also struggle opening on time in the mornings.

What joke for an alleged "gun store". I have purchased man firearms in my life. Usually, the entire process takes 15-30 minutes MAX. NOT AT CABELAS. I purchased a rifle 2 weeks ago, and the process took almost 2 hours. They had 2 employees working at the gun counter, and the employees were constantly complaining how it takes 3 employees to run a form, and that the manager was incompetent with scheduling, so every customer was expected to wait.I went back this week to purchase a shotgun, as I had some gift cards to use. What a mistake that was. I purchased a Benelli shotgun, meanwhile, the employee was telling me that anyone who spends this much money on a shotgun must have lost their mind. "I personally like tristar and taurus for my guns". Ummmm EXCUSE ME? This is MY MONEY I am spending. This is ignoring the fact that it once again took almost 2 hours to purchase a firearm.I am not sure if the employee who helped me had no clue what they were doing, or it was policy, but they had to call for a manager no less than three times to lookover my paperwork. Each time, someone different came, and they acted like they had never seen a form 4473 before.It seems that in the fall, they were much better staffed, and the employees were very knowledgeable and helpful. I am assuming they got wise and found better employment, as I did not see many familiar faces in the firearms department my last two visits.Thankfully, my gift cards have been spent, and I can make my firearms purchases at a much more efficient and better staffed store. This sucks for me, because I have always liked cabelas, and have been a club member since the store opened in early 2017. As a company, you should be embarrassed at the current state of your firearms department.

Pretty decent bait selection. I was able to get a couple of crank baits that are were recently released. They also have several color choices in every brand & every bait they carry. Prices were right at market value everywhere else. Store was nice & kept up. Despite a very recent snow the parking lot was also clean & kept up. Good job Cabela's.

Nice store, prices high but its average for Cabelas. My only complaint is they have special parking for Veterans, pregnant people, tons of handicap parking but I watch this elderly couple have to walk from way out in the lot. Respect the elders and get some dedicated spots for elderly

Big selection of outdoor supplies. They're getting 3 stars because I'm tired of searching for associates, and/or begging to get assistance. Sometimes they have been great - today not. 3 staff hanging out and playing phone stuff while I wait for assistance was over the top for me today. Also prices are very high compared to other outfitters. Sure, they match prices, but to have to search and compare to get a comparative price is a bother.
