I ordered a belt for my husband on December 14 and finally received the belt on January 13. I was not ordering for Christmas and was not in a rush, but to wait a month for a belt was way too long. When I received the belt, it was sized incorrectly - my husband couldn't even get the strap through the belt buckle. It was way too short - obviously not sized correctly from the moment we pulled it out of the box. I measured for the belt according to the instructions on the website. My husband needed a size 36 belt according to the instructions, and that is what we ordered. He also wears a 36 in other belts, and when I compared this belt to others, it was at least 4 inches shorter than all the others. I called the store and let them know that the belt was way, way too small. I was told I could exchange the belt but I would be charged shipping. This means I would have to pay to ship the belt back for exchange, and would then be charged again to have the correctly sized belt shipped to me. This is completely unacceptable when the error was made by the shop. This was not my error. It's not worth it to ship it back - I'm going to keep the belt for my 11-year old son who will grow into it soon enough. Yes, it's THAT small. Aside from the shipping and sizing issues, the leather quality, stitching and name plate of the belt I received is very good, which is why I'm giving 2 stars.

Purchased a belt that was returned to the sender (carrier wouldn’t deliver to a PO Box). I emailed a week ago and have left a voicemail with the business but haven’t heard back. Will update review if I receive the item I purchased.UPDATE: Upon reaching out again I caught Ashley, the manager. I explained the scenario and she corrected the issue and even overnighted my package to me so it would arrive by the date I needed it! The belt was in good shape as well. 4/5 stars just because of the headache with the other employees. Thank you Ashley!

This might be my favorite tack store in the Lexington area. They have a great selection of tack and other horse supplies. Not a lot of riding apparel but some of the basics. I was looking for a very specific bit and they had it for a reasonable price! I'll definitely be coming back.

I had been trying to find a new rolled dog collar for my 80lb dog and was not coming up with anything that I felt was made well. I happened to find Central Kentucky Tack and Leather on the internet. The collars looked good in the pictures, but hard to tell quality. I gave them a call and they could not have been nicer and advised me on size. I decided to take a chance and ordered. It is a great rolled collar, with fantastic workmanship and very reasonably priced compared with other collars out there. I highly recommend.

I ordered the hickory twitch for my mules, as they do not stand well for shots. They are very good at wiggling their noses out of a regular twitch, and I have tried quite a few. I was really happy with this product. The loop isn't large, so it doesn't take forever to twist. The rope grips well, so they were not able to get out of it. The log handle allowed me to move easily with them, when one decided to back up while I was putting it on. The vet was able to do 5 animals in 10 minutes. That was a new record!
