This is by far the WORST pharmacy that I’ve ever been to the only reason why I have to use this pharmacy is because the insurance company I have through work only allows cvs if your lucky enough to use a different pharmacy please do wish I could use a different one

Do not use this CVS pharmacy. They are not customer service oriented at all.

I am officially switching pharmacies after 12 years of terrible service. I am not sure why I put up with misleading information, terrible customer service and lack of overall empathy for so long. I am switching to using the Hospital pharmacies. I live close to UK and Baptist and they will at least communicate with my providers professionally.

Worst pharmacy experience ever. First I was forced to switch pharmacies by my insurance. Suggestion from them was CVS. We took all of our information and ask specifically if they could accommodate us. Naturally they said yes. So we switched. First 2 prescriptions could not be filled. It’s against their policy to bill insurance for anything that can be bought over the counter. Hello, this is why we have insurance. Next, we have to switch again. Then they lost our information and we had to contact our Drs to have all new prescriptions rewritten and sent to our new pharmacy. Definitely try another pharmacy before going here.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if the Stanford Prison Experiment was conducted in a pharmacy? Wonder no more. Simply ask to get a prescription filled at the CVS on Walden Drive, and experience for yourself the Kafkaesque pile of indignities to which you, too, can be subjected. I recently tried (read: tried) to get a prescription refilled at this pharmacy after making a change of insurance providers, and by the end of what should have been a very routine exchange between myself and the pharmacist, I had been hung up on seven times and quite literally yelled out of the store. To make a long story short, I've recently changed insurance providers and was trying to get an existing prescription reprocessed under my new insurance, but in my attempts to call the pharmacy and get this resolved, pharmacist Lauryn Lucas hung up on me before I could explain the issue I was experiencing. I called a total of seven times in attempts to speak to someone in the pharmacy, and was hung up on each time. I returned to the store to speak to a tech in person, hoping I could get better results that way - after I spoke to a technician, I expressed to Ms. Lucas that I was somewhat taken aback by her petty refusal to answer the phone. She went on quite the face journey before quite literally yelling at me from across the store that I should find a new pharmacy. I wish I could say that this is the first time this CVS has pulled something like this, but I would by lying if I did. I've had them refuse to fill prescriptions because the pharmacist "[doesn't] think you need that," I've had family friends get their identity stolen here; if you can think of a way for a pharmacy to make your day just a little worse, the Walden Drive CVS did it first and did it worse. Compounding your own prescriptions in a moving RV would be easier. Avoid at all costs!

New to Lexington and the pharmacy is the only rude people I have encountered.
Do not recommend this pharmacy and will not return.
They do not carry common medicines and offer no assistance.

I’ve had problems with this pharmacy before, not having prescription, not communicating well, but generally they have been nice. Until today. The “Pharmacist” was beyond rude from the moment she opened the window. Refused to fill my prescription because I’m pregnant when the prescription came from my OB, not a primary care. She ignored the medical provider who knows me and my pregnancy the best, because she thinks she knows better? Then she refused to send my prescription to another too, so I have had to jump through far too many hoops to rectify the situation. . Go anywhere else.

They would rather have you die than help you. That was the meanest person I have ever dealt with.

Wish I would have trusted the pharmacy reviews. This is the worst customer service I've ever received at a pharmacy. The people are rude and incredibly incompetent. You can't even call in to talk to a person you have to leave a voicemail. If you missthe call you have to call again and leave a voicemail. Save yourself the headache if you can.

I am a physician who was calling in a prescription to CVS on Walden Drive at Lexington, KY & happened to have a question about if they have the 2024 covid vaccine at their pharmacy. Although, I was clear that I am calling in a prescription but the lady who answered the phone told me to call the customer line, leave a message and someone will call me back then hung up. I did not get to call in my patient prescriptions nor get an answer to my question.

Nothing but issues with these individuals who refuse to be helpful!
Two months ago, I needed my minor child’s medicine early. A vacation fill. No matter how many times I explained we would be out of the country and needed the meds filled early I was told that they couldn’t due to Kasper- though the doctor citied approving a early fill for vacation but the pharmacy kept citing their kasper policy and refusing to fill. The ones they could fill early, i was told insurance denied to cover the early fill, when I spoke to insurance they informed me, no one called and tried. A claim was never made, yet the pharmacist was telling me they called. It was denied. They were everything but helpful, in a stressful situation already.
I switched meds to Walgreens and they had no issue with the vacation fill, and contacted insurance so it was all covered. No issues.
Fast forward this month, the doctor sent one of his prescriptions to CVS Walden again, almost 3 weeks ago now after his appointment. I’ve been waiting for the text message that it could be filled never came so I called today to ask about the medication being filled and they informed me that it is something they would need to order, and could have sometime next week. They have had the prescription request for nearly 3 weeks, and now that it’s needed to be filled, they want to order it? Why wouldn’t they order it when the prescription request was sent to them?
Everything had been going smoothly until I needed them to actually assist and make a few phone calls. I’m leaving this review so you realize if you have trouble with them, just try a different pharmacy. Really just try a different pharmacy!!!

Got my meds refilled here- they were supposed to give me 90 pills for 30 days but gave me only 30 pills. I called to fix the problem and they insisted that they hadn’t made a mistake and that my insurance only covers a 10 day or a 90 day supply. I know that’s not true and told them so and they were very rude to me and said that “they wouldn’t just make up numbers”. They told me it’s not their mistake and that I need to call my doctor for another prescription. Problem with that is insurance will only cover a prescription only 30 days and they marked it as a 30 day supply when they only gave me 10. So now I will have to pay out of pocket for their mistake. When I talked to UK to get another refill they actually laughed out loud on the phone- said they made a massive mistake and that apparently make these mistakes all the time. But they won’t admit it. Stay away unless you want to pay for their mistakes literally and figuratively
