Staff were less than friendly. Very aggressive when attempting to check out-fighting over what associate "won" the sale in front of customer. My items were taken from my hands and placed at a checkout before I was even ready to check out. I ended up returning an item same day, associate processing return informed me, not so kindly that was a "hit" to her day and it wasn't her fault I didnt like something. Aggressive, rude, and should consider the customers experience when setting what appears to be a dog eat dog sales tactic between employees.

I bought a dress online for my daughter's homecoming dance. The dress didn't ship on time, then was delayed for 6 days. We got the dress 2 days before the dance and it had a large slice/cut in the front of the dress. We had to buy a dress from a different store. When we tried to return the dress they wanted a $10 return label fee. So we decided to drive to the store to return. Service was terrible they acted like we were stupid and asked if the dress came in the mail this way. We paid $62 and only got a $41 credit return. Will never buy another thing from this store.

I can say I love Dillard’s over all especially during the holidays! I wasn’t expecting a trip to this location. This is my first time visiting the area of shopping since my mother lives in Lexington!
It is a crazy time to be in days before Christmas but being a former employee I anticipated these days. I knew when we got to the mall I wanted to stop by and see this Dillard’s to check out accessories and James Avery, due to my bracelet needing to be soldered. We needed the restroom and the line in the mall was crazy so I told my family we should utilize the Dillard’s one to all refresh from our trip from Cincinnati! We entered through the cosmetic entrance and just needed one employee to point us to the right direction. Atleast a dozen cosmetic associates looked at us without any name tags and I had to dig an associate to find one who looked like they wanted to help. There was a male associate who wasn’t busy with anything and I had asked him where the restroom was. He pointed away from Dillard’s? I followed up with “Does this Dillard’s not have a restroom?” He said oh yes and proceeded to tell me it’s was on the 2nd floor. His tone was very rude and my family and I were extremely offended.
After we reached and freshened up. We headed back down to the accessories department and tried to see if anyone could help solder my James Avery bracelet. An associate said the specialist isn’t available until tomorrow. Unfortunately it has been told from corporate at Dillard’s anyone who sells James Avery needs to be certified to sell James Avery for purposes like this! It’s just heartbreaking honestly!
The only positive experiences I had was in the Brahmin dept purchasing my Brahmin and the ladies shoe dept because my 6 year old want to try on some Steve maddens that couldn’t fit 💕
The cosmetics department needs some work with greeting people in and out of the store it sets the tone of our shopping experience and I’m sure others too! I’ve attached a photo of my daughter trying on shoes because that’s a tid bit of silver lining of our visit!

Dillards has been my "Choice" store for years. For a department store not to open until 11 AM is always an issue, but not to be open during the Christmas season is a failure. For those disappointed by the hours of our Lexington store try Macys!!!!

I personally will never shop here again. The guy at the fragrance counter was nice and all. But I was sold a cologne for $240. I checked after and the cologne is available everywhere else for almost less than $150. I know it’s my fault but with their policies it’s impossible to get a refund or price adjusted.

cautionary warning-do not attempt to return merchandise to this store. They will not help you, and the website is run by thieving crooks. Sent me the wrong item but wouldn't correct their mistake. Tried to bring it here and they wouldn't take it back. Hope this business is OK with losing thousands of dollars worth of purchases.

Terrible customer service today. Been buying most of my apparel at Dillards for over 25 years, spent thousands of dollars. Never tried to return anything until today. Had a shirt about one month, had a hole in shirt, I had no receipt. Told sorry can not replace. I will never return. Charlie Roy

My sister wore these $100 shoes for 10 minutes, went barefoot into the restaurant because she already had large blisters. Dillards refuses to give even store credit because they appear “worn”. Worn so much the sticker is still present on the bottom of the shoe. I don’t care how worn shoes look, at least Amazon would allow you to return something that caused serious blistering. Beware of buying anything from Lexington Dillard’s shoe store.

Didn't have a huge selection of MIL dresses for a wedding. Pretty pricey. Found about the same at JC Penney's for less.
I guess everything has gone to ordering online these days. I still like to try on clothes.

Pricey but nice merchandise. Always clean. Sales associates, especially in cosmetics, tend to be overly aggressive. It's a nightmare for someone avoiding social interaction.

Having moved from Chicago and missing Marshall Field Company,
I was so happy to find Dillard's, the Marshall Field of the South!
A beautiful store with helpful staff and a wonderful selection of
merchandise in every department. Great sales.
