I took my dad to see Dr Cowen and he diagnosed him with MG. He still has tests to do to confirm but I think Dr Cowen is very intelligent. He takes the time to explain everything. He also has a sense of humor which I like. He makes you feel comfortable and confident you are in the right place. I truly appreciate him.

Dr. Cowen is a highly trained and specialized ophthalmologist who concentrates on the management of deformities and abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal (tear) system, the orbit (bony cavity surrounding the eye) and adjacent facial area. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
In addition to our Lexington office, Dr. Cowen serves the people of Eastern and Southern Kentucky by providing satellite clinics in Ashland, London, Corbin and Pikeville.
