So I ended up closing my account because Chase is more of a nationalized bank chain and this branch gave me $0.53 back that they used to activate my account (usually banks will take back even $0.01 that they put into your account). Of course, the $0.53 is suppose to represent the fraction fifth third and they also have a credit card that gives 1.67% cash back, again, because 5/3 =. I found these two things to be unique.

Called 4 times and out of three they picked up and never said anything! On top of that they were quick to hang up and not answer my all my questions! I’m new to this bank and already want to close it!

Yes I was thinking about banking here but I’m absolutely not! The teller the person had was very rude couldn’t give the person I was with a direct answer on her account cutting her off while she was explaining the situation about her account I don’t even feeling typing no more but …….

This has been my bank for 23 years now and I love it. I feel more comfortable at this bank than any others. Kristen Parsons-Waugh is the nicest and most knowledgeable banker that I have ever met. She makes you feel like a friend with your personal interest at the front of every conversation.

Well I can see why this branch has low ratings.

Went to deposit over $400 cash Saturday right before close. Teller must have thought I wasn't paying attention. I looked at my receipt puling off. Somehow someone trained to count money on demand failed to count $300! (6 -$50's) of my deposit only putting in a little over $100. I walked in to have this resolved. She actually tells me I only have her $140 as she nonchalantly “recounts†her drawer in no midst of apology or surprise. (i.e you are a banker and someone just told you that you miscounted $300 and you didn't even seem shocked or apologetic). After she “found†the discrepancy she didn't even say anything she just pulled my account and typed in 300.00. She gave me my receipt and I told her “I still don't even understand how this could have happened†IF I HAD LEFT THERE AND REALIZED AFTER THEY WOULD HAVE CLOSED AND THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTHING I COULD DO. I WITHOUT A DOUBT FEEL THAT WOMEN TIRED TO STEAL FROM ME. CHECK YOUR RECIEPT!

Lies, money stolen, lies, privacy violated, more lies, and the absolute worst manager I have ever encountered. Never go to this branch.

Seruously, how is ONE STAR the lowest possoble rating? This is the most ZERO STAR branch that I have ever been to at any bank, ever. The manager is the rudest piece of banking trash imaginable- PLEASE do not trust these people with your money. Lies and deciet are one thing, but since when is it okay for your bank to flunk a basic math test??? RUN, DONT WALK to save yourselves from banking here.

Okay, so I actually just found a closer location of this branch; however, the experience at the Richmond Rd. location was kind of O_o. When I entered, I found that it was next to a Walmart. Yeah, this should have no association with this business nor with the review; however, someone apparently still does not get that thru traffic never stops! -_- Next, I enter the Fifth Third Bank location and I was greeted. ^_^ But then, I had told her that I needed to see a banker and this was when it was like...ugh So there was only one banker open and it was a Saturday, I guess this could have been some of the problem. When I went in, I greeted with "Good morning/afternoon", hell I had no idea what time it even was. Going by when I am writing this review, my correction back to "Morning" was right. So anyway, I ask my questions about the promotion I received of opening a checking account and the gal was just like "-_-" all the way through. "I just want to open a checking account, but I want to make sure there are no monthly fees or anything." Response: -_-.."well it depends on your income and what kind of checking account" Okay, so I guess here I may not have been clear because I should have just stated a FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT, even if the answer would have been that there was not one; however, like right way, if I were the banker, I would have been like "Here is what you may have been looking for." (Skip down two paragraphs.) "I would just like the cheapest option. See at my other bank, they give a free one to college students." Response: -_- "I'm going to have to see some ID." "Well I am not a college student, but what option would be the cheapest, so I can deposit my enclosed amount and take advantage of the offer and pay anything that may dip my balance under the amount I deposit." Response: "Well, here is a free checking account and unless you use checks, there are no other penalties that would take anything out from the account." And...wait for it...wait for it....-_- So I just had to be as enthusiastic as I could on my end, to get through all this. See, Bankers are the "ambassadors" of the business for more personal financial needs (usually I would think the tellers are, since they are more of the people you interact upon entering). Still, I felt that that was really shady/awkward customer service. Unless she was trying to passively up sell me into getting a premier checking or something more; I have no idea why she could not have just given me a free checking in the first place. It's like the whole passive run around! I get that it was a Saturday and she may have been like half asleep or maybe just did not want to have to do any work, BUT ACT like you care! Sorry, I was such a chore to help out.....
