My search for a really great, reasonably-priced, skilled jeweler is over. This is a longtime family-run business and they are just great. Joe-the main jeweler, is very good and does most, if not all of the work, in house. I had an issue with another jeweler in town, where a ring was sent out and switched with the wrong ring. I have been looking for a great jeweler for a while and finally found them! I would whole-heartedly recommend them.

About a year ago, I had brought in a very sentimental natural bead necklace that recently had the string break after a re clasp service elsewhere.They were one of the only places in Lexington I called who would re-string a piece I already owned. I told GDA I had found almost all beads but a few were missing. They carefully took my necklace and gave me a call with a price quote before amending it. When I picked it up, it was cleaned and strung well. I’m appreciative of their carefulness, knowledge, and transparency. I have worn the necklace consistently over the past year and it still feels sturdy. Thank you!

I brought a ring here that was multiple sizes smaller than what I wanted to be adjusted. Like a few other jewelers they said it was likely impossible due to compression of the diamonds. What they did differently was that instead of telling me that it was impossible they started giving me other options. They help me transplant the centerpiece onto a gorgeous ring that was in the size and for what I think was a fair price to. Appreciate all your hard work and I hope this review brings you smile.

I needed my ring resized on short notice, and they came to the rescue! Other places told me 1-2 week turnaround, but they were able to help me in a much quicker timeframe. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and I’m super thankful I called them! Highly recommend.

We got my engagement ring here, I always make a point to stop in when I’m in town and they are so kind they make sure my ring looks stable and in good shape. I was in a car accident that damaged the ring and they noticed the issue and repaired in flawlessly. I had a custom necklace made there that is exactly what I envisioned! Def will continue to use them for all fine jewelry needs and highly recommend them!

I had an awesome experience at GDA Jewelers! I broke my necklace at work and my dad called about them fixing it, they were very polite and made my dad confident that they would be able to repair it. I arrived the next day after work and they fixed it right on the spot! Didn’t even take 5 minutes! They even repaired one of my charms that wasn’t previously discussed. I would recommend them to anyone in the Lexington area for jewelry repair and/or shopping as it appeared they had quite the selection in store. They are family owned and make you feel like it when you are in store. Thanks again for taking care of my necklace!
