Lakeside Golf Course is a municipal golf course that is generally in good shape and great shape, with nice greens that are fast, smooth, and challenging. The fairways are also in great shape. The layout is leisurely, scenic, and fun, described as a joyful and entertaining course. While challenging and not super hard, it is also not particularly challenging, with the hardest hole being number 18. The staff is awesome, kind, very helpful, patient, and accommodating. Amenities include new golf carts, rental clubs, and an inexpensive, well-maintained range. It is noted as an exceptional course for the money, suitable for practice and amateur tournaments, with a scenic highlight on hole 7.
Really enjoy this course. Love that there’s a driving range! I’m still a beginner but I’ve found that this has been a great place for newbies and more skilled players alike.

Beautiful course! We loved it. Staff was very friendly, course was well kept. The fairways and greens were very nice. We didn’t encounter a single other golfer when we went out. Would go back!

Great course. Minimal snack options at the clubhouse. Plenty of great carts to rent. No gps on the carts but they drive well and the paths are in good condition. A must play course in Lexington.
