Goodwill justifies their rising prices by saying it’s “better for the company and employees,” but let’s be real—they get everything for free and already make huge revenue without the pushy donation requests at checkout. I found a plain IBS blank T-shirt for $5.99, which isn’t even vintage or high-quality. You can buy brand-new blanks for the same price or less at Walmart, Michael’s, or online. Thrift stores should be about affordability, but Goodwill keeps marking things up like a retail store. It’s disappointing to see them overpricing donated items while still asking for more money.

They have a LOT of stuff and most of it is decent but the prices are crazy. For a place that’s given all of their inventory, they sure are taking advantage of it.
It’s about as cost effective to buy new at Ross or the like. Very disappointing.

Sadly this location has gone downhill. Manager is very rude and purposely categorizes clothing wrong to jack the price up.

This WAS my favorite Goodwill until recently. This particular Goodwill was the best in the city and myself and many in the Meadowthorpe neighborhood visited here DAILY. However, the store now seems EMPTY in the back stock... larger items. Often mgmt. overprices items and although the employees are friendly and approachable, the manager there is NOT. She does not greet customers and is simply rude. Her staff seems intimidated by her and distant. I have no idea what is going on with this location now but there definitely needs to be a change in management or clearly this stores revenue will be at risk. Her cocky attitude has no place at this Goodwill. And her emptying stock too quickly without allowing a fair time to gain sales is RIDICULOUS!

One of the better goodwills in the area in terms of what you'll find and the prices

Goodwill employees are helpful and courteous.
Many items are extremely overpriced because the quality just isn't in many used items.
I'm sick and tired of being asked if I want to round up, so I refuse.

Excellent place, you can find good clothes but they always have the weakness that they do not have a system and they do not accept credit or debit cards, only cash.

Love checking out Goodwill and the one on Leestown Road is awesome. I love it. The only bad thing about it is if you see something you like you better go ahead and buy it because it won't be there when you go back. This place stays busy and sales things quick. Nothing like the one I'm use to in Pikeville . Oh and prices at Goodwill have went up its unreal how much things are now at Goodwill. Sad really cause the people in America are having a hard time making it and Goodwill was somewhere the people could go to and afford some things they truly need but not now. I've realized that looking on Marketplace for yardsales is my better choice

Always find random deals here. Sewing box full of denim and black thread for five bucks? Yes!

Staff are friendly, for a goodwill it is clean and you never know what you will find. This is one of the better Goodwill locations in Lexington
