Having issues with my car not squeezing on the brakes properly, only slamming works properly. I explained the issue to them and got 4 brake pads and 1 caliper replaced. Overpriced compared to what a shop would do, but a shop wouldn't come to me so it's whatever. They asked for a tip on top of the travel up charge though, pick one or the other. Brakes work fine for a few days, then start acting up again. I called them and they said they'd need to replace more calipers. Couldn't explain why replacing 1 caliper didn't help. Didn't offer a discount or partial since their first repair didn't work. Wouldn't tell me how much additional calipers would cost over the phone. I'll be sticking with traditional shops.

I had an amazing experience! He came right to my house and got my brakes done in just about 2 hours. Super professional, quick, and reliable. On top of that, he resurfaced my rotors for free, which saved me money and made my car drive so much smoother. Definitely exceeded my expectations. I’ll be calling him again for any future work and highly recommend his services to anyone who needs brake work done!

Excellent work at short notice. Call them at 5 o'clock received a quote. Around 7pm they arrived at my house at do the work.
Friendly and fast at replacing 4 break and roters.

Keith was Super knowledgeable and a very pleasant professional mechanic. Came to my house and replaced my breaks, and took the time to explain to me exactly why some things were happening to my car so that I understood it and walked away with more knowledge than I had before about my car and took the time to diagnose some other problems I’ve been having to discuss. Very very impressed. I was skeptical at first as I wasn’t familiar with the company, but I give it 10/10. I almost went with tire discounters for a brake/rotor change but knew they would overcharge and may not be able to get in right away. Instabrakes came to my house, and did the job in less than 2 hours, late at night at that. They are fair, fast & reliable. As long as I don’t have any issues out of this job (which I know the job was done correctly as the loud grinding noise due to my bad brakes is gone) I will definitely use them again in the future for any car maintenance issues and will recommend them to friends and family!
