Last of the Mohicans on luxury as well as practical fabrics and lace. Even fleece covered spandex. The line was no longer than any other store with a huge variety of quality goods. Patience begats the prize

I was at the Reynolds Road store in Lexington Ky on Saturday. They closed early at 7:00 but it was right at closing. If you’re going to close early put it online. I had a return from a few months ago. The lady at the closest checkout wouldn’t let me in. Said all sales were final but this was a purchase from way before they said they were going out of business. Then she said we’re closed. Now why would it have hurt her to let me return my yarn. It wouldn’t have taken 2 minutes. With customer service like that I can see why they’re going out of business. The last time I was in the store it was a disaster.

What has happened to Lexington KY JoAnn fabric? It used to be my happy place now when I go there, I’m totally stressed out and angry. Fabrics all over the floor, fabric on bolts backwards. So many boxes in the aisles you can’t walk through. I go there about once a month and it seems to be getting worse. I was there in September and there was not one buggy available. as I walked through the store, There were tons of buggies full of items on each aisle. This makes me so angry . I was there yesterday and talked to two or three ladies about how terrible the store has become, and the disappointment we all had. I contacted customer service with my complaints and pictures in September and never heard anything. I really would love the company to fix this problem. I don’t want to lose JoAnn fabrics. Like I said it used to be my happy place.

When you call Jo-An’s in Lexington, a recording is played over and over, the gist of which states they are up and running, and they really want to help their customers. They also advertise door busters. Unfortunately, the staff doesn’t know where anything is including the advertised door busters! We asked two people about an advertised item. They had no idea. We also talked with the store manager and she has no way to find items either because they are short staffed and haven’t unloaded hundreds of boxes. Fascinating way to run a business.

I live an hour from the Joann store in Lexington, KY. I was very excited to see that I could order and pay for items online for in-store pick up. Ensuring the items would still be available by the time I drove the hour to get to the store. My order was placed, paid for, confirmation email received.
As instructed in the confirmation email I waited to be notified my order was ready.
Rather than being notified that my order was ready I was notified that the order was canceled. It seems my order was not "processed" before the items sold out in the store.
To their credit they offered free shipping if I reordered the items. The problem with that is the shipment date was after the time when I needed the items. Hence my order online to ensure I'd have them.
I guess I'll be saving time in the future, no more hour long drives to shop here.

The state of this location is just sad, boxes everywhere aisles pretty much empty. I went in yesterday to find a specific yarn for a Christmas gift I am working on but the yarn section was completely trashed and I was unable to find what I needed.

I was at Joann’s on Reynolds rd on Monday 12/16 around 5-6 pm. I needed some fabric cut for a project and had walked over to the cut counter. While I waited there were a couple of other customers who had needed help and I didn’t mind to wait. Whomever the employee was that was working the back counter at the time- maybe mid to late 20’s female, unfortunately I did not catch her name- was INCREDIBLY rude and dismissive to the other customers who needed help. I even offered to another customer to wait because I had about 6 fabrics I needed cut, she politely declined and waited for the employee to finish up with me. Said employee then made a remark to a fellow coworker saying “Are you available to help a customer now?!” in a rather disrespectful tone. I should’ve spoken with a manager while I was in the store. I’m not sure why she felt this behavior was acceptable for a customer service/ retail job, but I was very off put by her tone and attitude.
I totally understand being overwhelmed from possibly being understaffed, however after working in retail myself I never could have DREAMED of behaving this way towards paying customers. I hope this is resolved soon.

A large beautiful store! But the place was literally trashed. Boxes everywhere, some empty, some full. You could hardly walk. I hope they hire some people to get this store ready for Christmas! They had one man working at the checkout. Someone needs to get involved with corporate and let them know. Another lady was in the store and she said she was appalled at what the store looked like. Please someone help this store! It is large and it could be a wonderful place to shop!

I have been a patron of Joann’s Stores in Oregon, Wyoming and for the first time today, in Lexington, KY.
The stores in Oregon and Wyoming were clean and neat and extremely organized.
Unfortunately this was not the case in Lexington. I was appalled at how messy the store is. Boxes cluttering aisles with contents that needed to be put on shelves. Bins not kept tidy. Articles from aisles that had fallen on the floor and just left there. Just overall bad housekeeping. Is this store going out of business—so they just don’t care now and have given up? No pride in this Joann’s. Not planning on going back, and certainly won’t be recommending it to anyone.

Love this place! Staffs are very friendly. I love their selection. I can always find something I am looking for.
Today, I went in there during the last hour of the day. Everyone was so helpful and attentive. D'Juan helped me to get my fabric cut and he also waited for me patiently when I wanted to check another section one last time. I think they have a great team there.
