Cool calm and collected place. Very decent. I'd say this is like Wimbledon when it comes to horse racing. Beautiful beautiful place. Very nice and polite folks around the place and very helpful too.Very clean. Extraordinary food in taste and for the money.A place of history, culture, tradition and fun.For all ages.Soul soothing. Natural and simple. Vast!

Highly recommended to take the early tour to watch the horses warming up, then head over to the Track Kitchen for breakfast. Great prices, food and staff. Tour informative and wonderful.

Spectacular track! We were able to catch an early morning practice - which is free and open to the public. It was 29 degrees and sunny - which made for a magnificent experience. We parked and walked track side and wee so close we could see, hear and smell the entire experience.I definitely recommend calling ahead for hours and training location, this changes depending upon time of year.Of note is the Track Kitchen restaurant which has an amazing breakfast special and is worth checking out after you watch the horses run!!

I went here on a field trip with my school, and everything was absolutely gorgeous. The tour guides were super sweet and kind, open to any questions, etc. I recommend going sometime! It's super clean and organized. The track is super cool, too! If you're a history architecture lover, I highly recommend going. The limestone and overall structure of the whole thing is mind-blowing!

These evil people at keeland are selling their former racehorses to Korean connections turning these poor horses who've been bred and raced their whole lives into horse meat for pet food or cosmetics or for human consumption. These people pretend to care for their horses and care about the equine community in general and then after years of service and love to their owners they turn these poor horses over to these evil people who do this to them. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS AWFUL PLACE or bring in any money to this track. If you care anything about horses and their beauty, safety and well-being in general and believe that after years of being bred and raced that they should have a decent life and not be killed immediately then do not patronize this place and urge these people to stop doing this disgraceful and abhorrent Act!!! These beautiful creatures DO NOT deserve this!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE don't let this happen!!! SPEAK UP AND FORCE THEM TO STOP!!!!

I had a wonderful time at Keeneland! I grew up watching the Kentucky Derby, and just happened to spend a day in Lexington for work. I was extremely lucky- possibly due to my visit date being close to the holidays- to be the only person on tour with my tour guide, Mike. He was extremely thorough with all of his explanations of the inner workings of the track; and patiently answered all of my questions. It was really cool to see the racehorses go through their morning workouts on the track. Mike kindly explained that I- visited on the last day of the November horse sales, and walked me through all the activities that the buyers would do during the sale. I had to go to work during the day, but returned around lunch time as he advised to see the sale. I've never seen a live auction before, and watching the sale was definitely a event I'll remember forever. I can't thank Mike and the rest of the staff at Keeneland for their time and kindness during my stop in Lexington. I truly had a fantastic time and memories that will last me a lifetime!
