The staff shortage is a serious problem at this location.

My pain medication (due to my knee injury) was sent in yesterday and I go in the next day to pick it up because no one would answer the phone. Waited 20 minutes in line and when I get up there, the lady tells me that I can’t get it until Monday or Tuesday (mind you it’s Saturday) because it’s just her and the doctor there so no one has been able to leave the counter to fill prescription. What I don’t understand is why the doctor isn’t filing the prescriptions while the tech deals with the front counter. I will be switching pharmacy’s because this is insane.

Rude employees, unacceptable wait times and disorganized area. Truly the worst I’ve encountered in any setting ( retail or hospital).

Terrible service after waiting for 30 mins just to be told my prescription had to be ordered and it was supposed to be ordered two days ago! I'm taking my business elsewhere .

I had a urgent need for antibiotics and insulin and they tried to bully me into going without because they were too lazy to fill them in 2 days. They tried to blame me. I've been fighting for 25 years to survive without hearing this b.s. they need to take accountability for their negligence.

I’d definitely have to concur with all the other people that have commented on the extreme long lines @ the Kroger Pharmacy on Richmond Road….ALL THE TIME!!! Although they used the word “seems” when commenting that it “seems” the Pharmacy was understaffed! There’s NO seems or maybe about it, THEY ARE DEFINITELY understaffed. I recently moved all my prescriptions there, and I’m definitely rethinking that decision due to that very issue, unless something in the near future changes. Not to mention your employees and all the extra work that’s put on them!
Being a former employer myself, I can only imagine that in that type of work environment..….well, i’ll just say that the end results can’t be good,….for any & all involved. I would go as far as to say, that you probably have a bit of trouble keeping good help, due to the ongoing pressures of the job, but more so the added and unneeded stress that you’re employees have to deal with on a regular basis. That’s just wrong for all parties.

Waited 30 minutes in the drive thru just to be told to either circle back around to the back of the line or come in because the pharmacist had to count the medicine? What a joke.

The staff is nice and attentive; however, the staff shortage is a serious problem here! I've used it for years due to my home location and have realized that Kroger needs to hire more pharmacists to not overload the current ones. The drive thru is constantly closed due to staff shortage. They have plenty of business because there is always a big line there, therefore, Kroger needs a better pharmacy manager to coordinate staff and customer service ASAP!!

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. I only use them because it’s convenient to our home, but that will change soon.
Their customer service is horrible. I’ve never encountered a drive thru employee that has any semblance of customer service skills. They let the phone ring off the hook, and they hang up on callers if they’re too busy. They often run out of important medications causing delays in receiving life saving medications.
Whatever pharmacist is in charge of that pharmacy should be fired as they have no business being in a supervisory role.
Avoid this pharmacy like the plague!

This pharmacy REFUSES to answer the phone. I have called NUMEROUS times on different occasions to try and transfer my prescriptions to a different Kroger but they will not answer the phones, EVER.

When people are big mad, they leave 1-star reviews. These guys are not perfect, but they are helpful and move quickly.

They absolutely refuse to answer the phone, even for my elderly dad who has IMPORTANT MEDICATIONS!! I decided to try and call for him, and spent almost 10 minutes listening to the phone ring. I finally hung up and called a manager, who tried transferring me again. What did I get? Another 10 minutes of ringing! If you can't be bothered to do your job, quit.

This is one of the most busy Kroger pharmacies in the city. A lot of people come here to get prescriptions. The pharmacists and techs are fast, efficient, and friendly. They do a great job, and I’ve always been confident with their care. The drive through is a life-saver when I have sick kids and don’t want to get them out of the car. I would definitely recommend this pharmacy.
Be aware, though, that if you come at a popular shopping time (first of the month, right after work, Saturday morning) many of your fellow citizens will also be getting their prescriptions, and you will have to wait in a long line. This isn’t the pharmacy’s fault at all, but it’s something to be aware of, in case you can’t go at a less crowded time.
