Worst Kroger I’ve ever been to. The cashier was rude and could care less if he checked me out.

Bad customer service last night 7:25pm oct 31, 2024 at self checkout. There's a huge sign for red grapes for $3.99. It rang for $5.99. I told the gentleman on the front about it. He spends 5 minutes if not more with me on the kroger app which didn't work to pull up the digital coupon. It was taking way too long just to ring this one item. I had to get back to work. Instead of him making the adjustment himself for me like most Kroger's do after wasting my time, he takes BACK the grapes!
That was an awful feeling.
I think it the daytime in the morning this location does a better job. But at night time it's awful and no customer service.
In my decades of shopping this has never happened to me either. Usually there's courtesy and respect for my time.
He also got really close to me which I felt was inappropriate. I don't know if this guy is gay but I certainly felt uncomfortable.
He also started to touch the screen on my phone going through the Kroger app without asking me which made me uncomfortable.
This location employees need proper customer service training.
I have my own business. I know what customer service is. That is NOT it.

Gardenside kroger overcharged me on at least 2 or 3 items everytime I'm there. Also gas is typically higher than beaumont which is only 2 or 3 miles away...

Deceitful.
Walked in, saw a "buy one get one free" sign (two actually) for Arm and Hammer laundry detergent. I could pass that up so I grabbed a couple. I go to check out (kroger card and all) afterwards look at my receipt, I was charged full price for both. I show it to the attendant and she told me that customer service would refund me for the one that was supposed to be free.
I go to customer service, explain it all, he leaves the desk to "Check the signage" to confirm. He comes back and says "there's only a $1 off coupon for the product". I had a sick spouse waiting on me in the car and I would have felt bad if I made him wait 30 extra minutes simply because I wanted to stand my grounds over some laundry detergent so I just told him to give my money back for both. He did and I walked back to where I saw the huge end cap sign..
I guess his "confirmation check" was simply him, Amir, clearing off the shelves. The shelves that had the exact detergents that I purchased and was once FULLY stocked when I arrived!! How mysterious.

I have been going to this pharmacy for years. Today the tech and the pharmacist were not open to explaining a certain policy to me that I was unaware of which impacted my medication. It was an issue that wasn’t even their fault but they were obviously uncomfortable even having the conversation. I think that it is part of their job to explain to customers certain policies that impact the availability of their medication, I don’t know why this seemed to bother them so much and cause them to be unwilling to elaborate and just tell me to call my doctor on the next business day.

I was a bit hesitant to shop here at first since it isn’t my usual Kroger, but I needed to pick up a few things while I was out nearby. There were such cute pride decorations at the front! Made me feel much safer shopping there knowing that the staff wouldn’t be bigoted towards me if I needed help. Definitely will swing by again!

This Kroger I frequent several times a week...I ran in today for a few items that I actually assumed would be in cosmetics...As I browsed the aisle I was prompted by a associate by the name of Amanda...Which she asked me did I need help...When I told her what I was looking for she advised me of the product location...And followed up stating it wouldn't make sense for it to be over here ... Rudely!!! Nevertheless I'm a individual of character...And it very well shows why she's a associate @ Kroger... If you knew better...You'd Do better...I also informed the Store Lead on Duty about the associates Rude comment..Wouldn't mention unprofessional because she clearly doesn't understand what Profesional is...

I call this my ghetto Kroger and I am just fine with that, but lately it's been slipping lower. No live cashiers both nights I went this week and only five self check registers open. So u have to wait in a loooong line for the right to ring yourself up and bag your own groceries.

Trying to talk to a pharmacist about a prescription that should have been ready last week is a real bother. At 8:00 is a Draconian time to close a pharmacy

To the lady stocking the new Pharmacy section tonight, you suck as a person and shouldn’t be in customer service.

It's a small store and do not carry many items, but that's ok. They do not carry my medicine and cannot order at their location. They allow their employees to smoke right out in front of the doors, unacceptable! I was in yesterday and as I walked out an employee blew smoke right on me! When I turned around and said excuse you, she looked at me and walked into the store. I would call, but it's worthless.
