Main Event totally delivered! Marqui$e was the VIP host for bowling and kept things running smooth without hovering—perfect for me since I just wanted to kick back and watch some football. Steven held it down in laser tag, making sure the kids had a blast while I stayed hands-off (which is exactly my vibe).
The kiosk setup was clutch—super quick and easy to book everything. Props to the team for making it all so effortless. Definitely coming back for more chill days like this!

I was very disappointed with this place. When we got here needed help on the kiosk cuz it's first time going, we got her armbands decided everything and went to play. After a little while we decided to have dinner because we were waiting for a bowling lane to open up. I had to find an attendant to seat us, once we were seated we ordered and about 35 minutes later our bowling lane had came up(the only thing we received at this time was our drinks). Again I had to find someone to ask them if it was okay to go bowling and our food be brought to us. I made for sure that they knew exactly which bowling lane we were at. Never did anyone ever come, I had to go to the bar just to get refills (I also ordered a drink that I did not like in returned and so I had to pay for it)and continually ask about our food which no one could answer. We finished bowling and at this point had been over 2 hours since we ordered our food. At the end of the night we ended up having to reorder just to get our food(and the waitress still had her order in her book, it was just forgotten about) to be charged regular prices no discount for any inconvenience. This was not a good first experience and based off this I will not return. I'd spent close to $300 in this facility and didn't get to do anything except for bowl and play some games,because by the time we got finished bowling everything had closed.If there was some communication with the diners part to let us know when our food would be ready we wouldn't have sat and just waited. Because again each time I asked I was told it was coming right up that they would bring it right to us. This was supposed to be an exciting treat for our grandkids and ended up being a huge disappointment!

I recently visited Main Event in Lexington, Kentucky, and overall, had an amazing experience! The facility is top-notch—clean, well-maintained, and full of fun activities for all ages. The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is energetic and family-friendly, with something for everyone, from bowling to arcade games and even laser tag.
However, I did have a negative experience in the laser tag area. While the game itself was a blast, one of the employees, Tuff, was notably rude to the kids playing. He seemed to get overly aggressive during the game, which made some of the younger participants uncomfortable. It’s a shame because it did take away from an otherwise fantastic experience.
Despite that, I would still highly recommend Main Event to anyone looking for a fun day out in Lexington. The place is great, and I’m hopeful that they’ll address the behavior of a few staff members to ensure that all guests have a positive time.

Was considering going to Dave & Buster's but were meeting friends that live in Nicholasville & friend suggested Main Event. We had never been to Main Event so decided to give it a try. The restaurant has very little food options to choose from. We got the "loaded fries" that had barely any cheese or bacon on them. The burgers and pizza were okay. The parmesan brussels bites were barely cooked. The server was super nice though- so that was a plus.
For the activities, we signed up for a bowling lane and proceeded to play in the arcade while waiting for a lane. The games are typical with air hockey, skee ball, basketball type stuff as well as far too many not-actual-game options where you just waste points on trying to get points for the prize shop. None of the games offered many points, and the prizes weren't a great selection and cost too many points.
After almost an hour we ran out of game points and were ready to leave so we cancelled the bowling lane and got a refund (the manager was nice, as well). As soon as we got the refund, we got the text that the lane was available, so if we had stayed it would have taken almost exactly an hour to bowl.
Overall, the staff was nice but we were not impressed and regretted not going on to Dave & Buster's or Malibu Jack's. With such a large space, it really should strive to be better.

No one here knows how to answer a phone? Called three times in a row and couldn’t get an answer. Why have a phone if you never answer it? I was trying to book a big party but I guess I’ll look elsewhere!!
