However, it is not pet-friendly, and dogs are not allowed to protect the native animals. While the park provides beautiful scenery, some areas, like around the “Blue Hole,” could be better maintained. Being in an industrial area, there might be some noise from nearby activities. Overall, McConnell Springs is a beautiful and educational place ideal for nature walks and family visits.
The History to Chew On program is excellent. Last night was about woman in horse racing. Jessica Whitehead did such a good job. I would like to hear more and am interested in the book she's writing.
