Friendly staff, good selection of equipment (freeweights in particular; machines, somewhat less so.) They offer a day pass which, as an occasional visitor, I deeply appreciate.

The Y is the best place to workout and maintaining a healthy active routine. There’s many different activities for any members of the family from the youngest to the oldest!.I have been a member since 2012 and I feel like home whenever I’m there. The staff is awesome and they make you feel like home.

My favorite YMCA in Lexington. However the lack of ambient music in the weight room makes things a tad awkward.

I started out in a wheel chair, to walker, on to crutches, and now walking alone. My goal is to run 5K & 20k races again and I am well on my way.

Staff and facilities are fantastic. The TRX, MAT PILATES, instruction Cara has transformed my body at 50. Sauna and steam room are a great ending to a challenging work out. CAN NOT say enough good things about the North Loudon YMCA.

Whoever designed this pool deserves to be shot. I’ve been swimming for 20+ years and this is the worst pool I’ve ever swam in. THE TOP FOOT OF THE UNDERWATER WALL IS SLIPPERY METAL, WITH A TOE-TRAP CAVE AT THE BOTTOM OF IT. That slippery metal toe-trap goes all the way around the pool. Embarrassed to be the same species of whoever designed this. It serves no purpose other than to jam your toes with all your body weight for doing a flip turn. Also there’s no soap/shampoo holders in the showers, so put all your stuff on the ground. But at least the locker room wall tiles are new and expensive. Guarantee emotionally-driven liberals are in charge of this Y

I love North. The staff are kind, compassionate, and encouraging. It is the most diverse Y I've encountered.

I used to love this place when I worked out in the mornings and before and during covid. Now I come in the evenings and I'm so tired of other people's music being so loud that I can't enjoy my own workout. I literally leave the gym angry. Worst part is you watch employees come in and walk the facility or even work out there and don't say a word to anyone about their music. Add that people park illegally everywhere (especially in the fire lane) and when I've brought it up they literally don't care. They have less hours open than Beaumont, High street, and Hamburg on Sundays, but why?Staff is overall very friendly, but why post rules if you're not going to enforce them?Facility is nice, the pool and equipment are good.Just boils down to BS.
