The stories about expired products on display is true and I don't know how this store gets away with this in Kentucky. A couple of times I have found multiple expired items (custard, milo, biscuits etc) on their shelves, and when I notify the owner she just shrugs it off. This store is putting people's health at risk.

Hello I'm Eddie Gardner driver for Patterson Companies Inc Plant City Fla, I did a delivery earlier today Winn Transport the young lady front of store was so kind & polite, Carried herself very professional, very helpful when I arrived. The young man working back of store does his job very professionally shows interest in his work. He was one of the nicest young men I've met, were so helpful making the delivery.

The workers here we're so helpful. I was overjoyed when I came in, the smell when I walked in was lovely and homey. I had never really been to a Tropic or African market before. The lady at the counter was very kind and told us the best things she had and even let us try some spicy samples. The ginger spice candy was amazing and the soft drinks are delectable. It was a lovely experience and I will most certainly come back. It is a 2 hour drive to get there from where we live but it was worth every bit of the gas and then some. We spent $70 and hope to spend more once I eat all the lovely things I had bought.

Products are mostly expired and very expensive. The African chicken I bought there was freezer burnt, and was not packed, Dried fish was very salt that I threw away my soup. The egwusi "treat brand" I bought there was no bad that I could not eat the egwusi. Pounded yam that sell at Mama African for $9 was sold here at $16. I do not recommend this store.

I was super excited when I found this market. That quickly went away when the products that I would like to purchase are usually out-of-date. Now it's become a waste of my time to go there as I end up leaving with only 1 or 2 (and sometimes none) items because everything else is expired. No longer a customer. Looking for another Caribbean market in Lexington.

A lot of the products are out-of-date. I spend most of my time checking expiration dates than shopping. Annoying. Not worth my time and money anymore. Very disappointing because I was excited when I discovered the market.
